As of November 2026, Destiny 2 has ten playable raids: Last Wish, Garden of Salvation, Deep Stone Crypt, Vault of Glass, Vow of the Disciple, King's Fall, Root of Nightmares, Crota's End, Salvation's Edge and The Desert Perpetual, plus the Pantheon boss-rush activities added by Monument of Triumph. Vault of Glass, King's Fall and Crota's End are free for every player, while the other seven need their expansion or content pack. Each week two of them are featured with farmable Tier 5 rewards, which is the main thing to plan around now that the game has stopped receiving new raids.
We checked this against Bungie's Update 9.7.0 patch notes, the Destiny 2: The Collection store page, the Monument of Triumph FAQ and support guide on Bungie Help, Bungie's October 2026 Community Update and Dexerto's raid list in November 2026.
Every Raid You Can Play Right Now
Raids are six-player activities built from several encounters and a final boss, each with its own mechanics, loot pool and Exotic. Here they are in release order, with the original launch date of each Destiny 2 version.

- Last Wish (September 14, 2018): the Dreaming City raid from Forsaken, where players finally face an Ahamkara, and home to the One Thousand Voices Exotic.
- Garden of Salvation (October 5, 2019): a Vex raid in the Black Garden from Shadowkeep, with the Divinity Exotic trace rifle.
- Deep Stone Crypt (November 21, 2020): Beyond Light's Europa raid, known for its space walk and the Eyes of Tomorrow rocket launcher.
- Vault of Glass (May 22, 2021): the original Destiny raid reprised, ending with Atheon and dropping Vex Mythoclast.
- Vow of the Disciple (March 5, 2022): The Witch Queen's pyramid ship raid, ending with Rhulk.
- King's Fall (September 18, 2022): the Destiny raid on Oryx's Dreadnaught, reprised with Touch of Malice.
- Root of Nightmares (March 10, 2023): Lightfall's raid against Nezarec, home to Conditional Finality.
- Crota's End (September 1, 2023): another Destiny reprise, with Necrochasm as its Exotic.
- Salvation's Edge (June 7, 2024): The Final Shape's raid against the Witness.
- The Desert Perpetual (July 19, 2025): The Edge of Fate's non-linear Vex raid on Kepler, where three opening encounters can be done in any order before the final fight with Koregos.
The Desert Perpetual also has an Epic version, which drops the Wayward Psyche armor set rather than the standard Collective Psyche set. Bungie's Collection page counts seven raids as purchasable content, which is simply this list minus the three free reprises.
Which Raids Are Free and Which Need a Purchase
Bungie's store page for Destiny 2: The Collection says Vault of Glass, Crota's End and King's Fall are available to all players. The Monument of Triumph FAQ points returning players to the same three as a starting point. For a free-to-play account, that is a solid set of raids to learn on, and King's Fall in particular has strong Legendary weapons for a no-cost raid.
The other seven follow their content. Last Wish is part of the Forsaken Pack, Garden of Salvation the Shadowkeep Pack and Deep Stone Crypt the Beyond Light Pack. Vow of the Disciple needs The Witch Queen, Root of Nightmares needs Lightfall, Salvation's Edge needs The Final Shape and The Desert Perpetual needs The Edge of Fate. The Monument of Triumph support guide confirms that access to activities in the Raids and Dungeons menu still depends on owning the matching expansion.
Destiny 2: The Collection unlocks all seven in one purchase, along with the dungeon keys. Remember that licenses are tied to the platform you bought on; our crossplay and Cross Save explainer covers how that interacts with playing on several systems, and the expansion timeline shows where each raid fits in the story.
How the Weekly Featured Rotation Works
Monument of Triumph brought back a weekly featured rotation with a twist: two raids and two dungeons are featured at once, and they reward farmable high-quality gear. The featured week starts at the Tuesday reset, which Bungie Help lists at 17:00 UTC, or 9:00 AM Pacific while daylight saving time is off from November to March.

The difference between featured and non-featured raids is large. On a featured raid's Standard difficulty, encounters and challenges drop Deepsight weapons or Tier 5 armor, and those drops are farmable. Master adds Adept weapons from challenges, the Director challenge gives one Deepsight weapon or Tier 5 armor per week, hidden chests give Tier 5 armor once a week, and the Deepsight chest awards a Deepsight weapon or Tier 5 armor once all patterns are done. The raid vendor offers one Deepsight purchase a week, and on Master it sells Adepts for 25 Spoils of Conquest.
A non-featured raid on Standard only gives a chance at Deepsight weapons and Tier 3 armor. To get Tier 5 armor and Deepsight weapons there, you need Master, challenges or the Deepsight chest. In practice, most players farm whichever two raids are featured that week and save the rest for triumphs or fun.
Spoils of Conquest have a second use worth planning for. Hawthorne can now focus Armor 2.0 pieces from nine raids, complete with their raid mod slot and high stats, for ten Spoils each, so saving Spoils from featured weeks lets you pick between a raid mod setup and a new set bonus later.
To see the current pair, open the new Raids and Dungeons node on the Destinations screen, which Bungie added as a quick access point for full raid and dungeon content.
Feats, Difficulty and Reward Grades
Feats are optional modifiers that raise the reward grade of a run. Update 9.7.0 split out a Standard mode, so weekly tiered rewards can still be earned without any Feats, and made encounter completions with Feats active farmable. Each grade has a fixed payout: Grade 0 gives one Tier 3 item, Grade 3 gives two Tier 5 items and Grade 5 gives three Tier 5 items.
Each Feat adds a set number of grades. Cutthroat Combatants adds four, Challenges adds three, Shocktroopers adds two, and Token Limit or Phase Limit add one each. That makes it possible for an experienced team to turn a single clear into a large pile of Tier 5 gear, while a learning team can stay on Standard and still collect weekly rewards.
The Desert Perpetual has one extra wrinkle: its Simulant Ansible vendor now sells gear at the highest tier your current Feat selection allows, but only after you complete any encounter in that run. If you are gearing up a build for higher Feats, our builds guide for the final sandbox has subclass setups that hold up under pressure.
Pantheon and the Monument of Triumph Additions
Pantheon returned in Monument of Triumph as a set of raid boss-rush activities. Two launched on June 9, 2026, Calus Resplendent and Morgeth Surpassing, each with its own boss lineup. A third activity with the full gauntlet of bosses opened on Saturday, June 13, and from the June 16 reset a weekly rotator began featuring individual bosses, two at a time.
Pantheon has its own armor set for each class, reprised weapons with a unique origin trait and holofoil variants, and a vendor after each multi-boss run where you can spend Spoils of Conquest to re-roll items you have earned. Reprised encounters can also drop ornaments from the original raid armor, such as the base Leviathan set from Calus. A new Adventure difficulty lifts the Power cap, allows infinite revives and loosens some mechanic timings, in exchange for a smaller pool of lower-tier rewards.
Every older raid was refreshed in the same patch. Raid armor now drops as tiered Armor 3.0 with a unique set bonus per raid, craftable raid weapons received updated perk pools and can be upgraded to match tiered weapons, and the raid banner stack limit rose to 999. Our armor set bonus guide lists what each raid set does, and the god roll guide explains how weapon tiers and crafting interact.
Leviathan and the Unvaulting Plan
Several raids are still missing. The original Leviathan raid, its Eater of Worlds and Spire of Stars lairs, and Year Two raids such as Scourge of the Past and Crown of Sorrow left the game with the Content Vault in November 2020. Pantheon's reprised bosses and ornaments are, for now, the closest you can get to that content.
Bungie's October 2026 Community Update says the first unvaulting pass covers raids and raid lairs from the Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind and Forsaken releases, along with their campaigns and strikes. Updating legacy raid weapons is listed separately as a stretch goal. The work is in pre-production until about January or February, after which Bungie expects roughly twelve months of full production, so no return date has been set as of November 2026.
Arriving Raid-Ready
A first raid goes far better when you already have the Power, a working build and the right weapons, and getting there from scratch takes time. If you would rather join a team with a seasoned character, the store's Destiny 2 hub lists accounts from independent sellers, often described by Power level, raid weapons and titles such as Conqueror, and the listings change daily. Please note that Bungie's Terms of Use state accounts are licensed content that may not be sold, traded or transferred without Bungie's specific permission.
