Dying Light: The Beast Cheats and God Mode on PS5 and PC

Dying Light: The Beast has no cheat codes, no developer console and no god-mode setting on any platform. On PC you can get god mode, infinite ammo and one-hit kills from third-party trainers, Cheat Engine tables and mods, all unofficial and unsupported by Techland. On PS5 and Xbox Series X|S none of those tools run, and the only official codes are docket codes, which hand out weapons and items, not invincibility.

So PC players can cheat at their own risk, while console players can redeem dockets, build an overpowered Kyle the long way, or start from a modded save. Everything below was checked against Techland's support pages, patch notes and the trainer listings on 21 October 2026.

Are there cheat codes in Dying Light: The Beast?

No. There is no button combination, no code box in the pause menu and no console you can open; the best-known PC launch option just skips the intro logos. The Beast simply ships without a cheat system.

The closest thing to an official assist is Story difficulty, where enemies are weaker and hit softer, and you keep your XP when you die. It won't make you invincible, but it takes the sting out of night runs. At the other end sit Brutal and the Nightmare difficulty that Update 1.5 added in December 2025.

Anything promising PS5 cheat codes for god mode, money or Legend Levels is wrong or a scam. The one real code system, dockets, is covered below.

PC: trainers, Cheat Engine tables and god-mode mods

On PC the game's files and memory are open to outside tools, so three kinds of cheat exist, none of them supported by Techland:

  • Trainer apps. These run alongside the game and toggle cheats with hotkeys. WeMod's listing for The Beast shows 34 cheats for the Steam and Epic versions, including unlimited health and ammo, one-hit kills, unlimited Beast Mode duration, an XP multiplier and money editing. Other trainers offer similar lists, all for Windows only.
  • Cheat Engine tables. Community tables edit values in memory. One widely shared table carries more than 150 scripts and has to be updated after every patch.
  • Mods and save editors. Nexus Mods hosts several god-mode mods, usually .pak files that change the game's scripts, and a community save editor released in October 2026 rewrites money, items, skills and stats in a save file.

We don't link to any of them. If you go this route, use official sources only and back up first: Techland lists the save folder as <Steam folder>\userdata\<user id>\3008130\remote\out\ on Steam and %userprofile%\Documents\dying light the beast\out\storage on Epic. Steam Cloud syncs a broken save as happily as a good one, so keep a copy elsewhere.

PS5 and Xbox: why console cheats don't exist

Consoles only run software that Sony and Microsoft have signed and give you no access to a game's files or memory, which rules out trainers, Cheat Engine and file mods on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Saves are locked down too: a PS5 won't copy individual PS5 saves to a USB drive the way it does PS4 saves, and since Techland cancelled the PS4 and Xbox One versions on 14 July 2026, there is no PS4 save for older editing tools to work on.

So treat PS5 mod menu videos with suspicion. A working mod menu on a PS5 would need a jailbroken console, which most players can't run on current firmware and which puts PlayStation Network access at risk; the rest are fake downloads. Our PS5 mods explainer goes deeper on what consoles can load.

What consoles do have is glitches, which come and go with patches; Update 1.5 even adjusted the New Game+ and Legend Level progression curves to reduce farming exploits. Our duplication glitch guide and XP farm guide cover where those stand.

Docket codes: the only official codes

Dockets are Techland's promo codes, and they work on every platform:

  1. Create a Techland account on the docket page (dockets.dyinglightgame.com) and link your Steam, Epic, PlayStation or Xbox account.
  2. Enter the code and press Redeem. Codes ignore capitals and most punctuation, so each one works once per account.
  3. Launch The Beast while online, open any stash (stashes unlock in the early Safe Haven quest), pick the Redeemable Rewards tab and claim The Beast Docket under Tools.

Most dockets give a limited-tier weapon matched to your level; GamesRadar notes these are enhanced and sturdier than normal finds but can't be repaired. Code 442E-4674-C97E-FFF8 is listed as a convoy key card, and linking a Pilgrim Outpost account adds a Spectral Bat. As of October 2026, GamesRadar's list and UrGameTips (updated 8 October) both show about two dozen live codes, including DOCKETCODE, WASD, EDGAR and THEULTIMATESURVIVOR, while UNLEASHTHEBEAST has expired. We haven't redeemed them ourselves, and codes can die without notice.

None of the listed dockets grants god mode, money, XP or Legend Levels, and you should never type your Techland or PSN login into a third-party code generator.

Getting close to god mode without cheating

A late-game Kyle is already absurdly strong, and all of it works on console:

  • Legend Levels. From level 15, all XP becomes Legend XP, and each Legend Level adds points for health, combat and Beast Mode upgrades. Higher difficulties and New Game+ tiers earn it faster; our max level guide covers the grind.
  • Beast Mode. The meter fills as you land hits, dodge, parry and take damage. The Beast Controlled skill, bought with Beast points from Chimera kills, lets you trigger it yourself once it is full.
  • Weapon mods. Tip and shaft mods add shock, fire, freeze and other effects to melee weapons, and grip mods add damage or durability. On a strong legendary they melt crowds; our best weapons guide picks the bases.

None of this makes you unkillable. Volatile packs and high New Game+ tiers still punish mistakes, which is exactly why people go looking for god mode.

The real risks: malware, saves, co-op and patches

  • Malware. Free trainer downloads in YouTube descriptions, Discord servers and cheat sites are a classic way to spread password stealers. If a file asks you to switch off your antivirus, delete it.
  • Your save. Techland's support site says mods "will corrupt your save files and, eventually, break the game", and that mod leftovers can survive an uninstall. Its save-location article also tells Epic players to keep manual backups.
  • Co-op. Up to four players share one host's world, so god mode or spawned items affect everyone in it. Techland warns against duplicating items, and Update 1.5 stopped players with no Legend progress from picking up Legend reward weapons left by teammates. We found no publicly documented anti-cheat, but that is no promise, so keep trainers to solo play.
  • Patches. Trainers, tables and mods target one game version. The last big patch was the Anniversary Update (1.7) on 17 September 2026, and Techland's CEO said on 14 October that no substantial new content is planned, but smaller fixes can still break a trainer overnight.

God mode on PS5 without a trainer: modded saves

On PS5, the only way to start with god mode already on is a save that has been edited for you. Ours is the One-Shot / Immortality Starter Save: Legend Level 300 with boosted Legend skills, god mode where only explosions and grabs can kill you, no fall damage, one-shot damage on almost every iconic weapon with bosses included, infinite ammo, consumables and Beast Mode, and 9,999 of every material and valuable. The boosted skills can be reset, so you can switch the one-shots and immortality off when you want a real fight back.

On PS5 the save is applied to your own profile through account sharing; on PC you get the file with install steps. You need to own the game and should back up your progress first, and after any account-sharing service, ours included, change your password and keep two-step verification on. Xbox players can't get modded saves from us, but our in-game transfers for PlayStation, Xbox and PC are on our Dying Light page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there cheat codes for Dying Light: The Beast on PS5?

No. The PS5 and Xbox versions have no cheat codes or console commands. The only codes are Techland's docket codes, which give weapons and items rather than god mode, money or XP.

Is there a god mode setting in Dying Light: The Beast?

No. God mode only exists through PC trainers and mods or a modded save. The official easy option is Story difficulty, where enemies are weaker and you keep your XP when you die.

Can you get banned for using cheats in Dying Light: The Beast?

We found no reports of bans for single-player cheating and no publicly documented anti-cheat as of 21 October 2026. Techland doesn't support mods, though, so keep trainers to solo play and back up your save.

Do Dying Light: The Beast docket codes still work in 2026?

Most appear to. In October 2026 two code trackers still listed about two dozen working codes, such as DOCKETCODE and WASD. Codes expire without warning, and UNLEASHTHEBEAST already has.

Do PC trainers work on Xbox or the Steam Deck?

Not on Xbox. WeMod, for example, lists itself as Windows only and supports the Steam and Epic versions of The Beast, so on the Steam Deck any trainer relies on unofficial workarounds.

Will Techland add cheats or a god mode later?

It looks unlikely. In a Discord AMA on 14 October 2026, Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka said the studio is not planning substantial new content for The Beast and called it a complete game.
