Yes, Blood Strike has crossplay between mobile and PC: Android, iOS, the standalone NetEase PC client and the Steam version all share the same matches, and a linked account carries the same progress across them. There is no PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch version as of November 2026, so console players cannot join at all. The details that trip people up are account linking, how the game marks PC and mobile players in lobbies, and the aim assist differences between inputs, all of which are covered below.
We checked this against NetEase's official Blood Strike site, its update announcements and account linking FAQ on Steam, the Steam store page, the App Store listing and a November 2026 platform guide from a Blood Strike guide site.
Which Platforms Play Together
Four installs feed the same player pool: the Android app from Google Play, the iPhone and iPad app, NetEase's own Windows client and the Steam release. Mobile came first, and the App Store page now describes the shooter as available on multiple platforms. Steam joined last, with early access in October 2024 and a full launch in March 2025. Whichever of the four you pick, you queue into the same Battle Royale and Squad Fight matches, which is why a squad can mix a phone, a tablet and a desktop without anyone changing apps.

Consoles are the gap. A Blood Strike platform guide updated on 4 November 2026 states there is no Blood Strike on PS5, PS4 or Xbox, and that NetEase has not announced a PlayStation, Xbox or Switch version. We also found no console announcement in the official news feed, which covers updates through 20 October 2026. If you play on a console, the closest option is the PC version with a controller, since both the Steam page and the App Store listing note controller support.
One more naming note: the App Store also carries a separate app called Blood Strike Max from a different seller, Stellar Gate Games Limited, with Arabic-language store items. If a friend cannot find you, confirm that you both installed the same app before you start troubleshooting crossplay.
How Cross-Platform Matchmaking Looks in Game
Mixed lobbies are a normal part of matchmaking rather than a special mode. In December 2024 NetEase admitted that mobile players were not clearly told when they had been matched with PC players, which caused confusion. The fix added distinct markers to the Lobby, the Friend List and the Recruitment List so you can see at a glance whether a player is on mobile or PC.
Whether mobile players can opt out is less clear. In a November 2024 Steam discussion, players reported that mobile users could choose whether to join PC lobbies while PC players could not, and one iPad player said joining PC lobbies offered extra ranked points. Those are community reports rather than official statements, and the option may have changed since, so check the matchmaking settings on your device. Separately, the August 2026 update confirmed that the third-person Battle Royale mode and the first-person mode are matched separately, so a squad must agree on a camera mode before queuing.
Playing With Friends Across Devices
Squading up across phone and PC works the same way as on a single platform. You can add friends and invite them, and the game has a team code system that makes cross-device grouping quick.

- Team codes: when you form a team you can share a 7-digit team code, and other players enter it to join automatically.
- Lobby display: since a May 2025 update, a player who is alone sees their team-up code in the lobby; once in a team, others can only join using the leader's code.
- Code resets: the team-up code resets each time you log in or out, so share a fresh one each session.
- Privacy: you can disable the team-up code feature in Personal Info, then Privacy Settings, if strangers keep joining.
- Invites during matches: since July 2026 you can accept team invites from the friend chat window, and PC players got dedicated accept and decline buttons.
Region matters more than device. The official Road to Mythic event in 2025 listed three servers, Asia, EU-MENA and Americas, and friends on different servers do not share an account. If your friend on another continent cannot see you, read our guide to Blood Strike servers and regions before assuming crossplay is broken.
Is Crossplay Fair Between Mouse and Touch?
This is the most debated part of crossplay. A mouse is the most precise input, while touch players rely on aim assist and, on supported phones, gyro aiming. NetEase tunes aim assist with PC and mobile in mind. In April 2026 it said the QBZ95 and M1887 performed very well on PC but were harder to use on mobile, so it raised the aim assist coefficient for both weapons on mobile only. In February 2026 it fixed a bug where tapping the fire button rapidly triggered a stronger aim assist.
PC players have pushed back in the other direction. A March 2025 Steam thread argued mobile aim assist was too strong, and one reply noted that aim assist was not available on PC even with a controller at that time. A November 2026 platform guide, by contrast, says PC controllers now get aim assist. Because those accounts conflict, check the controller options in your own settings; our aim assist and controller settings guide walks through the menus and what each option does.
Ranked Play Across Platforms
Ranked progress belongs to your account rather than your device, so a rank earned on mobile shows up when you log in on PC with the same linked account. That also means your input choice affects your climb. If you play ranked on both, practice on the device you will climb with most, and copy your sensitivity values by hand when you switch, because touch, mouse and controller each have their own sensitivity menus.
Leaderboards are split by server, not by platform. The official Road to Mythic event ranked the top 100 Mythic players on each of the Asia, EU-MENA and Americas servers. If you want to know how the ladder works from Bronze to the top tiers, our rank tiers guide covers the full structure and how points are earned.
Setting Up Cross-Device Play the Right Way
The biggest crossplay mistake is not a matchmaking issue at all, it is account linking. NetEase's Steam account linking FAQ says that if you want your existing phone or PC account on Steam, you must link your Steam account to your current client before launching the game through Steam. If you launch on Steam first, that Steam account can no longer be linked to your existing game account, and you will need to contact customer service.
When both a Steam account and an original account already have progress, NetEase says you must choose one, and the other will be overwritten. The game defaults to the phone or PC progress, and switching to Steam progress requires a form that cannot be reversed. Once linked correctly, NetEase confirms that progress is shared across PC, Steam and mobile. Our step-by-step PC and Steam guide covers the linking order, the system requirements and which PC version to install.
Common Crossplay Problems and Fixes
Most "crossplay is broken" reports turn out to be one of a handful of setup issues. Work through these before contacting support.
- Your friend does not appear in your list: confirm you are both on the same server region and in the same app. A friend who installed Blood Strike Max or created an account in another region is effectively on a separate game.
- Your Steam login shows a brand new profile: a player in a 2024 Steam discussion described exactly this, where picking a server on Steam created a fresh account instead of loading the existing one. That is the linking problem described above, and customer service handles the fix.
- A team code will not work: codes reset every time the owner logs in or out, and only the team leader's code works once a team exists. Ask for a fresh code from the leader.
- You keep landing in different modes: third-person and first-person Battle Royale queue separately, so check that everyone picked the same camera mode and the same ranked or casual queue.
- Voice chat is silent across devices: on PC, the Audio tab under Graphics and Audio holds a Voice Chat Toggle, a Team Chat Mode switch and a Teammate Volume slider. A muted slider is the usual culprit.
If none of these apply, NetEase's own FAQ points players to customer service, reachable from the Settings menu in game or by email. Include your game ID from both devices, which makes it far quicker for support to see whether two accounts exist where you expected one.
Want a Head Start on Any Device?
Because one linked account works on phone and PC alike, progress you build travels with you. If you would rather begin with an account that already has ranks or skins, the Blood Strike page of the store shows listings from marketplace sellers, and each lists its server, which matters as much as the device you play on. Note that NetEase's Terms of Use state you may not share, sell or transfer your account without its prior consent.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Blood Strike cross-platform between PC and mobile?
Yes. Android, iOS, the NetEase PC client and Steam players share matches, and a linked account keeps the same progress on every device.
Is Blood Strike on PS5 or Xbox?
No. As of November 2026 there is no PlayStation, Xbox or Switch version, and no console release has been announced. Console players can use a controller on the PC version.
Can I turn off crossplay in Blood Strike?
NetEase has not published an official opt-out. Community reports from 2024 said mobile players could choose whether to join PC lobbies, so check your device's matchmaking options.
How do I know if a player is on PC or mobile?
Since December 2024 the Lobby, Friend List and Recruitment List show distinct markers that separate mobile and PC players.
Does my rank carry over from mobile to PC?
Yes, if both devices use the same linked account. Ranked progress is tied to the account, not the device.
Why can't I see my friend in Blood Strike crossplay?
You are probably on different servers or apps. Asia, EU-MENA and Americas are separate, and Blood Strike Max is a separate App Store listing from another seller.
