Blood Strike is free on PC in two official ways: the standalone NetEase client downloaded from the Blood Strike website, or the Steam version, which left early access on 13 March 2025. Both run the same game and the same matches as the phone version, and the requirements are modest, with Steam listing Windows 10, 4 GB of RAM and Intel HD 4000 graphics as the minimum. The step people get wrong is account linking, because launching on Steam before linking your existing account can lock you out of your progress there, so read that section before you install.
We checked this against the Blood Strike Steam store page, NetEase's official website, its Steam account linking FAQ and progress selection notice, and the official PC optimization notes in its update announcements, in November 2026.
Two Official Ways to Play on PC
The official Blood Strike website lists a dedicated PC download alongside Google Play, the App Store and Steam. The NetEase client is a separate Windows installer that signs in with your existing game login. The Steam version installs and updates through your Steam library like any other game, and its store page lists NetEase Games as developer and publisher, with early access starting on 18 October 2024 and full release on 13 March 2025.

Which one should you choose? If you already play on a phone, either works once accounts are linked correctly, and the NetEase client is the more direct route because it logs in with the same account you already use. Steam is convenient if you want Steam's overlay, friends list and automatic updates, but it adds the linking step covered below. Both are free to play, and the game is funded through optional purchases such as Gold and the Strike Pass.
There is no need for an Android emulator to play on a computer, because a native Windows version exists. Using the native client also avoids the input and performance quirks that come with running a phone build on desktop hardware, and it gives you the PC-specific keybinding and sensitivity options that NetEase has added over the past two years.
PC System Requirements
Blood Strike was built to run on low-end phones, and the PC requirements reflect that. The Steam store page lists the following specifications. Both tiers need a broadband internet connection and 30 GB of free storage, and DirectX 11.
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 | Windows 10 |
| Processor | Intel i3-540 or AMD Athlon 200GE | Intel Core i5-4460 |
| Memory | 4 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Graphics | Intel HD 4000 or AMD Radeon R5 220 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 |
| DirectX | Version 11 | Version 11 |
| Storage | 30 GB | 30 GB |
The minimum spec will launch the game, but a full Battle Royale lobby is the most demanding scenario, so aim for the recommended tier if you play ranked. Storage needs grow over time as new maps and modes arrive. NetEase has added tools to manage that: a June 2026 update brought a Resource Download Center with recommended downloads, smart downloading and cleanup, plus an optional "EVO Skill" resource pack you can download only when you need it.
Linking Your Mobile Account to Steam
If you have never played Blood Strike, simply install Steam or the NetEase client and start. If you already have progress on a phone or on the NetEase PC client, the order you do things in matters, and NetEase published a dedicated FAQ in November 2024 because so many players got it wrong.

- Before launching the Steam version for the first time, link your Steam account to your existing account from the phone or NetEase PC client.
- Only then launch Blood Strike through Steam and sign in.
- If you already launched on Steam without linking, NetEase says that Steam account cannot be linked to your existing game account, and you should contact customer service at the support email listed on the official site.
- If both accounts already have progress, you must choose one to keep and the other is overwritten. The default keeps the phone or PC progress; switching to Steam progress needs a form, and NetEase says the choice cannot be reversed.
Once linked, NetEase confirms that progress is shared across PC, Steam and mobile. If you do not link anything, you lose nothing: a Steam-only player can ignore the linking pop-ups and play normally. You can also reach customer service from inside the game through the Settings menu. Server regions are a separate question from linking, which is why our server and region guide is worth reading if your phone account was created in a different region.
PC Controls and Settings Worth Changing
The PC version is not a straight port of the phone interface. A series of official "PC Optimizations" updates added keyboard-first features, and several are off by default or easy to miss.
- Key combinations: since November 2024 you can bind ALT, SHIFT, CTRL, TAB and CAPS LOCK in combination with other keys.
- Quick Revive: a hotkey that revives a nearby teammate instantly, added the same month.
- Throwable and med wheel: since December 2024 you can drag the mouse over an item and release the key to select it, with no extra click.
- Voice and chat: press F2 to open voice settings in the lobby or a match, and use Enter to type and send text chat.
- Audio: Graphics and Audio, then Audio, holds Teammate Volume, a Voice Chat Toggle and a Team Chat Mode switch.
- Firing sensitivity: a separate Firing Sensitivity setting for PC arrived in September 2025, alongside a Global Sensitivity Sync toggle that applies one change to every sight.
Mouse and keyboard is the most precise input the game supports. If you prefer a gamepad, both the Steam page and the App Store listing note controller support, and the 20 October 2026 update improved the controller Auto Sprint option. Our controller and aim assist guide explains those options and the conflicting reports about aim assist on PC.
A sensible first session on PC goes like this: open the keybinding menu and move any action you use under pressure, such as healing, the throwable wheel and Quick Revive, onto keys your fingers can reach without leaving the movement keys. Then set a single mouse sensitivity in a Training Ground session, turn on Global Sensitivity Sync if you want every scope to follow it, and only then fine-tune scoped values. Finally, check the audio tab, because footstep audio is one of the most useful sources of information in the game, and a loud teammate channel can drown it out.
Playing With Phone Players on PC
PC players share lobbies with mobile players, and since December 2024 the Lobby, Friend List and Recruitment List mark which players are on PC and which are on mobile. That matters for squad planning: a friend on a phone can join your team with a team code, and your linked progress is the same on both devices. Our crossplay explainer covers how mixed lobbies work and the fairness debate around aim assist.
A final caution on software. In November 2024 NetEase announced it had banned third-party devices that some players used to gain an unfair advantage. Avoid macro tools, unofficial "FPS unlockers" and anything that injects into the game process. Stick to the official client, your GPU driver and the in-game settings.
Getting Smooth Performance on Older Hardware
Because the game targets modest machines, most performance problems come from settings rather than hardware limits. Start with the graphics preset that matches your machine, then adjust from there. NetEase keeps improving the low end specifically: the 20 October 2026 update improved the low-graphics models for every Striker's default skin and the low-graphics performance of the skill indicators for HANK, JET and VOX, so a low preset looks better than it did a few months ago.
Map content matters too. In September 2025 NetEase optimized vegetation on Skyline Beach to address frame rate drops players saw in wilderness areas, and the same update added more trees and cover to that map. If one map stutters and others do not, it is usually dense foliage, and lowering effects and shadow quality helps more than lowering resolution.
- Install on an SSD: with 30 GB of required storage and frequent patches, load times drop noticeably compared with a hard drive.
- Trim optional resources: use the Resource Download Center to remove packs for modes you never play.
- Keep the GPU driver current: it is the simplest first step when you see crashes or graphical glitches after a game update.
- Close background launchers: overlays and recording tools compete with the game for memory, which matters most on 4 GB and 8 GB systems.
- Know the third-person fade: since the October 2026 update, your Striker, weapon and charms fade out when the camera gets close in TPS mode, so a cluttered view up close is now handled by the game rather than by lowering settings.
Finally, remember that network quality affects how the game feels as much as frame rate. A wired connection beats Wi-Fi for stable hit registration, and playing on the server closest to you keeps your ping low.
Bringing Progress to Your PC
Moving to PC is a good moment to think about where your progress lives, since a correctly linked account follows you between devices. If you would rather start on PC with an account that already has unlocks, the Blood Strike section of the store lists accounts from marketplace sellers, and each listing states its server, which decides who you can play with. NetEase's Terms of Use say you may not share, sell or transfer your account without its prior consent.
