As of November 6, 2026, there are no active gift codes for Pokémon TCG Pocket, and the game has no code box inside the app at all. When official codes do appear, you redeem them on the official TCG Pocket gift website with your Support ID, and the reward lands in your in-game Gift box, so this guide covers how that works, where past codes came from and how to catch the next one.
We checked the official TCG Pocket web store and gift site, the Dual Fusion announcement on Pokemon.com, Game8's redemption code page, Dexerto's codes tracker (updated November 4, 2026) and Insider Gaming's World Championships coverage in November 2026.
Are There Any Active Codes Right Now?
No. Dexerto's codes tracker, updated on November 4, 2026, lists no active gift codes, and every code that was released in 2025 has expired. Game8's redemption page, last updated in late August 2026, listed the Team Rocket's Ambition puzzle campaign as its newest giveaway, and that campaign ended on September 30, 2026. We are not printing old code strings here because none of them work anymore, and expired codes only waste a trip to the gift site.

That does not mean free rewards have dried up. November 2026 is packed with events that hand out packs and hourglasses without any code: the Second Anniversary Celebration, a Bonus Week with a free booster from daily logins, the Dual Fusion Emblem Event missions and more. Those are covered further down, and our guide to free hourglasses lists every repeatable source in one place.
It is also worth knowing that codes in this game are rare. Over two years, official codes have come from a handful of promotions rather than a steady stream, so the realistic strategy is to know the redemption process in advance and check official channels when a campaign is announced.
How Gift Codes Work in Pokémon TCG Pocket
Many mobile games have a redeem box in their settings menu. Pocket does not. The official web store links to a separate gift code site, and both Game8 and Dexerto describe the same flow: you enter your Support ID and the code on that website, and the reward is delivered to the Gift box inside the app. The game itself only shows you the result.
Your Support ID is the key piece. It is not your player name or your Friend ID, and it is not a password. Dexerto notes that it is case-sensitive, which is why copying it from the game is safer than typing it by hand. The ID only identifies which account should receive the gift, so you never need to share login details for any account to redeem a code.
Because the reward goes to your Gift box, it is tied to whichever save holds that Support ID. If you play on more than one device, make sure the account you are redeeming for is the one you actually use, and link it to a Nintendo Account, Google or Apple login first. Our account transfer guide explains why an unlinked save is a risk.
How to Redeem a Code Step by Step
When a new code is announced, the process takes about a minute. These steps follow the flow Game8 and Dexerto describe for the official gift site.

- Open Pokémon TCG Pocket and tap the menu button. Your Support ID appears at the top of the panel, with a button next to it that copies it.
- Copy the ID rather than retyping it, since it is case-sensitive.
- Open the official Pokémon TCG Pocket gift website in your browser. The official web store links to it in its header.
- Paste your Support ID and enter the gift code exactly as published.
- Return to the game and open the Gift box from the present icon on the home screen.
- Claim the reward. Gifts in the box can carry their own expiry, so do not leave them sitting there for weeks.
If the reward does not show up, close and reopen the app, then check the Gift box again before trying the code a second time. If the site says a code is invalid, check that it has not expired and that you entered the Support ID for the right account before assuming something is broken.
Where Past Codes Came From
Looking at past campaigns is the best guide to where the next code is likely to come from. Game8's archive lists these sources:
- Restaurant promotion, early 2025. Ordering a Pokémon Happy Meal through the McDonald's app between January 21 and March 31, 2025 gave 24 Pack Hourglasses and 12 Wonder Hourglasses.
- Golden Week, May 2025. A giveaway from May 2 to May 26 gave Pack Hourglasses (Game8 lists 12, Dexerto 24) and 500 Trade Tokens, from back when trading still used tokens.
- Summer 2025. An Eevee summer giveaway from July 5 to August 31 gave 24 Pack Hourglasses.
- Retail, from October 2025. Codes for 24 Pack Hourglasses came through official retailers starting October 24, 2025.
- Puzzle campaign, 2026. Solving all six puzzles of Team Rocket's Ambition Great Puzzle Challenge between August 27 and September 30, 2026 earned 24 Pack Hourglasses.
The pattern is clear: most codes are worth two packs' worth of hourglasses, they arrive alongside real-world promotions or set launches, and they last a few weeks. A code worth more than that, or one that promises rare cards, should make you suspicious.
Notice also what was missing from that list. Every reward in Game8's archive was an item, mostly Pack Hourglasses, with Wonder Hourglasses and Trade Tokens on a few occasions. None of the archived codes handed out specific cards, crown rares or the paid currency. That is a useful filter when you see a post claiming a new code: if the reward does not look like the past ones, check it against an official announcement before you bother.
To catch the next code early, the most reliable places are the official Pokémon TCG Pocket website and the news section of Pokemon.com, where the Dual Fusion announcement and the October 2026 producer letter were both published. Promotions tied to stores, restaurants or streams are usually announced there and through Pokémon's official social accounts, which the official site links in its footer. Trackers such as Game8 and Dexerto pick them up quickly as well, and they mark codes as expired once the window closes, which saves you from testing dead codes.
Free Rewards That Need No Code
Several rewards reach your Gift box automatically or through missions, and in November 2026 these are worth far more than a typical code:
- Anniversary booster: the Second Anniversary Celebration, live until mid-December, hands out a ticket that opens one pack promised to include a two-star art card.
- Elite deck gift: the official Dual Fusion announcement says an elite Dragon-type deck with Mega Rayquaza ex, Dragonair and Gouging Fire is sent to your Gifts.
- Pika Pika! Pikachu Missions, October 20, 2026 to October 20, 2027: logging in for 10 days earns a special Pikachu ex immersive card, Pikachu packs and accessories.
- Bonus Week, November 13 to 20: daily login missions reward a booster pack.
- Dual Fusion Emblem Event missions: Game8 lists 12 Pack Hourglasses at each of four participation milestones plus Shinedust for wins.
Twitch drops are the other code-free channel. During the 2026 World Championships in late August, Insider Gaming reported that watching 30 minutes of the official TCG Pocket coverage earned 24 Pack Hourglasses. That viewing window has closed, but similar drops have appeared around big streams before, so official stream announcements are worth watching. Avoiding Fake Code Sites
Search results for free codes are full of pages that promise unlimited hourglasses, Poké Gold or rare cards. None of those are real. Official codes have only ever been entered on the official gift site, and they only ask for your Support ID. A page that asks for your Nintendo Account, Google or Apple password, asks you to install an app, or claims to generate Poké Gold is trying to take your account or your data.
Third-party tools that edit your account carry their own consequences. In January 2025 the TCG Pocket team announced that players found engaging in data tampering, real money trading and other conduct against the Terms of Use would be warned, suspended or face other action. A fake code generator is not worth risking a collection you have spent months building.
The safe habit is simple: get codes only from official Pokémon announcements or reputable trackers that link back to them, redeem them on the official site, and treat anything that sounds too generous as a red flag.
Want a Bigger Head Start?
Codes and events add a few packs here and there, but they do not change how long it takes to build a large collection. Some players look instead at an existing account. The store's Pokémon TCG Pocket page shows accounts listed by independent sellers, and the listings describe their own contents, such as total cards, crown rares and saved hourglasses.
Keep the rules in view if you look: under The Pokémon Company International's Terms of Use, virtual items are provided under a personal, non-transferable license and cannot be transferred or resold except in ways the company explicitly allows.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any working Pokémon TCG Pocket codes in November 2026?
No. As of early November 2026 no gift code is active, and the codes released in 2025 have all expired. Check official Pokémon announcements when a new promotion starts.
Where do I enter a code in Pokémon TCG Pocket?
Not in the app. Codes go on the official TCG Pocket gift website along with your Support ID, and the reward then appears in your in-game Gift box.
Where is my Support ID?
Tap the menu on the home screen. The Support ID is shown at the top of the panel with a copy button next to it.
What do Pokémon TCG Pocket codes usually give?
Most past codes gave 24 Pack Hourglasses, which is two packs. A few added Wonder Hourglasses or, in 2025, Trade Tokens.
Are free Poké Gold code generators real?
No. None of the official codes in Game8's archive gave Poké Gold, and sites that ask for your login or an app install are scams. Data tampering can also lead to account action under the Terms of Use.
How can I get free packs without a code?
Log in during Bonus Week (November 13 to 20) for a free booster, use the Second Anniversary ticket, finish emblem event missions for Pack Hourglasses, and complete daily missions.
