LOTF Modded Save Delivery: How Account Share Works

Sculpt of an emaciated Umbral creature shown from three angles

Both Lords of the Fallen modded saves on the store are delivered the same way: you give the team temporary access to the account that owns the game, they sign in and transfer the save, and you load in afterwards. That is a big ask of anyone, so this post lays out exactly what is requested, what is not, and how to protect yourself on both sides of the transfer.

What checkout asks for

On the Complete save, the form starts with a platform choice, PlayStation 5 or PC (Steam/Epic). It then shows the matching field, either your PlayStation email or your PC account email, followed by the account password. The All Unlocks listing describes the same requirement for PS4, PS5 and PC: account email and password, submitted after checkout. That is the whole list.

What the store never needs: two-factor backup codes, your payment details for the platform, security question answers, or access to your email inbox. If anyone claiming to deliver a save asks for those, stop and contact support through the store.

Before you submit

  • Confirm which account owns the game. On PC that means the Steam or Epic account where Lords of the Fallen is in your library; on PS5, the PlayStation account that bought it.
  • Note your current character's level and a few key items, so you can compare after delivery.
  • If the account has a character you want to keep, ask support how it is handled before the transfer starts.
  • Close the game on every device and plan not to play until you get confirmation.

Two-factor sign-in

Many accounts have two-factor authentication turned on, and that is a good thing. It does not block delivery: if two-factor is on, support coordinates the sign-in with you during the transfer window, so you can approve the request or pass on a one-time code at the moment it is needed. Keep your phone or authenticator nearby during the window you agree on.

A sign-in from a new location may trigger a security email from Sony, Valve or Epic. During your agreed transfer window that is expected. Outside it, treat any unexpected sign-in alert seriously and change your password.

During the transfer

The listing describes it in three steps: you submit your details, the team logs in and transfers the modded save directly to your profile, and you receive confirmation when it is complete. While that happens, stay off the account. Launching the game on another device can create a fresh save or start a cloud sync at the wrong moment, which is the quickest way to undo the work.

After confirmation

Load the game and check the obvious markers first: the Vigor counter, a weapon you did not own before, and the Umbral Eyes in your inventory. Then do two housekeeping jobs.

  • Change your password. The access you granted was for the transfer only. A fresh password closes it, and it is good practice after sharing a login with anyone.
  • Spend some Vigor. Unspent Vigor is dropped when you die a second time in Umbral, so level up at a Vestige early instead of walking around with the whole bank.

If the save does not look right

Occasionally a cloud sync lands late or a menu shows something unexpected. Do not start a new game or play over the slot to "fix" it. Leave the character as it is, note what you see (the Vigor total, anything missing, which platform you are on) and contact support with your order details. A save nobody has played over is far easier to check and sort out than one with an hour of fresh progress on top.

If sharing a login is a dealbreaker

That is a reasonable position. If you will not share your password, buy the co-op Vigor and armour service instead: it asks only for your platform and username, and a worker joins your session to drop Vigor or the item pack. The trade-offs are covered in save versus co-op.

Comfortable with account share? Compare the two saves on the Lords of the Fallen hub and choose the one that matches your platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to give my email password too?

No. The store asks for the platform account email and the platform account password only. Nobody delivering a save needs access to your email inbox.

What if my account uses two-factor authentication?

Leave it on. Support coordinates the sign-in with you during the transfer window, so you approve the request or share a one-time code at that moment. Backup codes are never needed.

Can I play while the save is being transferred?

Please do not. Launching the game can create a new save or trigger a cloud sync that conflicts with the transfer. Wait for the confirmation message first.

What should I check once it is done?

Look at your Vigor total, open the weapons and armour menus, and check that the Umbral Eyes are in your inventory. If something looks wrong, contact support before playing further.

Should I change my password afterwards?

Yes. It ends the access you granted for the transfer and is sensible after sharing a login with anyone. Do it once you have confirmed the save loads correctly.

Is there an option with no login at all?

Yes, the co-op Vigor and armour service. It needs only your platform and username, works on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, and a worker joins your game to drop the items.
