The Lords of the Fallen hub offers two quite different ways to power up your Lampbearer. A modded save puts a fully stocked character on your account by login. The co-op Vigor and armour service sends a worker into your game to drop Vigor or items for you to pick up, with no login at all. Both end with a stronger character, but they suit different people. Here is the head-to-head.
How each one is delivered
Modded save. You give the platform, account email and password at checkout. The team signs in, transfers the save to your profile and confirms when it is done. You load in with everything already in place, and you do not need to be online at any point.
Co-op drop. You choose a package and your platform, add your username, and the store emails you to arrange delivery. A worker joins your game through co-op and drops the Vigor or items for you to collect. The listing quotes same-day delivery and states that no account information is needed.
Platforms
This is often the deciding factor. The Complete save supports PS5 and PC (Steam or Epic), and the All Unlocks save lists PS4, PS5 and PC. Neither supports Xbox. The co-op service covers PlayStation, Xbox and PC (Steam or Epic), which makes it the only option on the store for Xbox Series X|S players.

Prices and what you get
Both modded saves cost $50 and include the whole gear library plus either 300 million or 30B+ Vigor. The co-op service is priced by package:
- 100 million Vigor: $25
- 200 million: $30; 300 million: $35; 400 million: $40; 500 million: $50
- 1 billion: $75; 2 billion: $85
- Armour, weapons and items pack: $65, listing all weapons, armour, amulets, rings, all Umbral Eyes, 20 Saintly Quintessence, weapon upgrade materials and Vigor
On Vigor alone the co-op route is cheaper: 300 million is $35 against $50 for the All Unlocks save. Once you want gear too, the saves carry far more for the money, including spells, runes, emotes, ammunition and tincts that the co-op pack does not name.

What the co-op drop asks of you
Because delivery happens inside a live session, you need to be able to play online. On PlayStation that means PS Plus. Your game needs to be able to join a co-op session at the agreed time, and since Version 2.5 a Legacy character cannot meet a Veteran one in co-op, so your mode has to match the worker's. You also have to pick up what is dropped, so clear a quiet spot and keep the session stable until the worker is done.
Version 2.0 helped here: in all online sessions, both players can now revive each other and collect full Vigor and loot, which is what makes the co-op route practical.

Your existing character stays yours
One advantage of the drop is easy to miss. Nothing about your save is replaced: the Vigor or items land in the world you are already playing, so your own level, quest progress and choices stay exactly as they were. A modded save works the other way round, giving you a prepared character, which is why the delivery post suggests asking support how an existing character is handled before a transfer.
Timing is the other practical difference. The co-op listing quotes same-day delivery and says the store emails you after purchase to arrange it, so reply promptly and be ready to launch the game. A save transfer, by contrast, happens without you in the game at all.
Which should you choose?
- On Xbox: the co-op drop, as neither save supports it.
- Will not share a password: the co-op drop.
- Only want Vigor, on a budget: a co-op Vigor package from $25.
- Want everything at once, with no online session: a modded save, Complete or All Unlocks.
- Playing Veteran mode: either can work, but confirm with support first, since co-op needs matching modes and saves are tied to the mode they were created in.

Neither route makes a character invisible online; large Vigor totals and rare gear look the same whichever way they arrived. Our risk post covers that. To order the drop, go to the Vigor and Armor Services page; for the saves, start at the hub.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the co-op drop available on Xbox?
Yes. It supports PlayStation, Xbox and PC (Steam or Epic). Neither modded save supports Xbox, so the drop is the Xbox option on the store.
Do I need to give my password for the co-op drop?
No. The listing states that no account information is needed. You provide your platform and username, and a worker joins your game in co-op.
Which is cheaper for 300 million Vigor?
The co-op drop, at $35 for 300 million. The All Unlocks save costs $50 but adds the full gear library and maxed stacks on top.
Do I need PS Plus for the co-op drop on PlayStation?
Yes. The drop happens in an online co-op session, and online play on PlayStation requires PS Plus.
Does the co-op gear pack include everything a save does?
No. The $65 pack lists weapons, armour, amulets, rings, Umbral Eyes, 20 Saintly Quintessence, upgrade materials and Vigor. The saves also list spells, runes, emotes, ammunition and tincts, which the pack does not name.
Can I combine both?
You can, for example a save for gear and a later co-op Vigor drop. Most players find a single save already gives more Vigor than they will spend.
