Delta Force Maps: Every Operations and Warfare Map

As of November 2026, Delta Force has six maps for its Operations extraction mode (Zero Dam, Layali Grove, Space City, Brakkesh, Tide Prison and AZ3 Nuclear Plant) and a larger rotation of Warfare battlefields, with The Mog the newest and Zenith Port arriving on November 10. On Steam, the map library is split into a base install plus two free map packs, which is worth knowing before you invite friends to a map they have not downloaded.

We pulled this together from the official season patch notes and developer posts on Steam, including the April 2026 map pack announcement and the Zero Dam dev note, plus Worthplaying's preview of Season Aurora, all checked in November 2026.

How the Map Library Is Organized

Maps belong to modes. Operations maps are large, layered extraction zones built for squads looting against AI and other players, while Warfare maps are built for large combined-arms battles with vehicles. Smaller modes such as Detonation use their own compact arenas. A map name can appear in more than one context too, because some Warfare battlefields share regions and story with the extraction maps.

On Steam, the developer restructured how maps are delivered with Season Echo on April 21, 2026. The base install contains Zero Dam, Space City, Cracked, Trench Lines, Aftershock and Akh Canal. A free Operations Map Pack adds Layali Grove, Brakkesh and Tide Prison, and a free Warfare Map Pack adds Threshold, Knife Edge, Ascension, Shafted, Trainwreck, Cyclone, Monument and Fault. The change cut the base download from about 145 GB to an estimated 84.9 GB, while keeping every map free.

Newer maps such as AZ3 Nuclear Plant, Coliseum and The Mog were added in later seasons, so if you installed the packs months ago and skipped updates, let the client finish patching before you queue.

The Six Operations Maps

Each extraction map has its own feel, difficulty options and signature events. Here is what the official notes say about each one today.

  • Zero Dam: the developer calls it the map most new operators drop into. Season Echo rebuilt the elevator extraction with a second passage, added a reed marsh with an underwater area and birds that take flight when someone hides in the grass, and introduced Operation Gold, a timed vault heist with Raven.
  • Layali Grove: Layali Grove 2.0 arrived on September 8, 2026 with Serenity Bay, the North Slope Caves and the Haavk Underground Dock, a connected river network, four drivable Jet Skis and a Flagship Task called Bounty: Wave Breaker, in which you steal and extract an Assault Boat.
  • Space City: a high-stakes map the developer groups with Tide Prison as a Hard map. Season Morphosis added a Dock area, swimmable water and a water level system in the Buoyancy Lab, along with Macro Sharks that are drawn to players carrying the Wound debuff.
  • Brakkesh: part of the Operations Map Pack on Steam, and due for a Brakkesh 2.0 rework with revised routes and faction-based tasks in Season Aurora, according to Worthplaying.
  • Tide Prison: the other Hard map in the developer's own description, popular with experienced squads because the loot is rich and the fights are tough.
  • AZ3 Nuclear Plant: added on June 30, 2026 with Easy and Normal operations. Leak zones and radiation containers build up radiation exposure, and Neural Device Agents called H1000 guard the core facilities.

A good way to think about the six maps is as a ladder. Zero Dam and Layali Grove are where most players learn, with Easy tiers and a permanent Solo Normal option on Layali Grove. AZ3 adds an environmental hazard in radiation that rewards players who manage their exposure. Space City and Tide Prison sit at the top, where the loot is richest and the squads are most experienced, and the two maps that the developer's Operation Sentinel system locks flagged repeat offenders out of. Climbing that ladder in order is slower but far cheaper than jumping straight to the top.

Warfare Battlefields

Warfare maps are where tanks, helicopters and up to 64 players on PC collide. The rotation has grown each season, and recent additions lean into dynamic events that change the map during a match.

ColiseumAdded with Season Meltdown, June 30, 2026
The MogAdded with Season Reorientation, September 8, 2026
Zenith PortAnnounced for Season Aurora, November 10, 2026

The Mog returns to modern Mogadishu with infantry street fighting, push-cart tug-of-war battles and UH-60 Black Hawk suppressive air support, a nod to the setting of the Black Hawk Down campaign. Coliseum introduced a branching major event in which a Haavk rocket is either intercepted, raining debris on the city of Claudia, or crashes directly into the Coliseum, and it was the first map where vegetation can be set on fire on PC. Aftershock is built around earthquakes, and the September 2026 update reduced the camera shake from minor and moderate tremors after player feedback.

Modes matter as much as layouts. The same Warfare map can host Attack and Defend, where one side pushes through sectors, King of the Hill, Team Deathmatch and Victory Unite, which adds a Commander role. The September 2026 update made Victory Unite permanently available once you reach the rank of Colonel, and recent seasons have added secondary objectives to maps like Coliseum and Monument that give attackers extra footholds. Vehicle line-ups also change by map and mode, with amphibious vehicles now deployed on water-heavy battlefields such as Cyclone.

Map knowledge changes which weapons make sense. Long sightlines on open hills favor marksman rifles, while The Mog's streets reward close-range builds, so pair this section with our weapon guide when you plan loadouts.

Detonation, Hot Zone and Other Small Modes

Not every match uses a full-size map. Detonation, the 5v5 bomb mode added for the second anniversary in September 2026, plays on compact arenas, and the September 30 notes mention bombsites in Transit and the middle lane of Shariq Manor. Hot Zone, a faster Operations variant, received six new maps with Season Ahsarah in November 2025, according to Playday.

The extraction maps also host side activities. The Fishing mini-mode added in Reorientation works on Zero Dam Easy, Layali Grove Easy and AZ3 Easy, and Polaris Patrol runs on Space City and AZ3 from October 16, 2026. Some keypad rooms even draw on clues from a different mode, such as flags on the Cracked Warfare map, which our codes and locked rooms explainer covers.

Downloading and Managing Map Packs on Steam

Steam players have two ways to get the map packs. The game prompts you to download a pack when you queue for a map that needs it, or you can install them in advance by right-clicking Delta Force in your Steam Library, choosing Properties and opening the DLC tab. Both packs are free, and the developer says progress, loadouts and matchmaking are unaffected.

  • You cannot download individual maps; each pack installs as a whole.
  • The map pack change was a one-time re-download for existing players.
  • A separate paid DLC with cosmetic appearances exists, and it has nothing to do with map access.

If you are short on storage, start with the base install, which already covers Zero Dam, Space City and four Warfare maps, and add the packs once you know which modes you enjoy.

What Season Aurora Changes on November 10

The next season brings the biggest map news since The Mog. Worthplaying reports that Zenith Port is a brand-new Warfare map with extended Unreal Engine 5 features and a dynamic Riptide event that floods lower objectives and pushes fighting to higher ground. On the Operations side, Brakkesh 2.0 adds revised routes and faction-based tasks, and a limited-time AZ3 Challenge introduces a spreading radiation zone that compresses the battlefield while extraction points are revealed during each match.

Expect the first week of any new map to be chaotic. Spawn spots and unbalanced positions are often adjusted in follow-up patches, as the developer did with The Mog on October 9, when it fixed closed-off areas in the old embassy district that players could reach.

Learning a New Map Faster

  1. Start on the easiest tier. Easy Operations raids and casual Warfare modes let you explore without losing much.
  2. Learn exits before loot. On extraction maps, knowing two ways out matters more than knowing every container.
  3. Watch the environment. Water, birds, fire and floods now carry information or danger on several maps.
  4. Follow a teammate who knows it. Playing a few rounds behind an experienced player teaches routes faster than any video.
  5. Review after each death. Ask where the shot came from and whether you could have seen it coming. Most early deaths on a new map happen at the same few crossings, and noticing them once is often enough to avoid them for good.
  6. Use the marking system. Pinging levers, ziplines and keycard readers keeps a squad on the same plan without long callouts.

Skipping Ahead on Progress

Some maps and difficulty tiers only open up at higher Operations Levels, and a deep stash makes Hard maps far less punishing. Players who would rather start further along can look at the account listings on the store's Delta Force hub, where each seller describes level, assets and platforms. The official EULA states that players may not sell, resell, rent, lease or share a game account, or let anyone else access it.
