Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a gentle platinum for most of its length and a harsh one at both ends. A few trophies can be lost in the opening hours in Lumière, and the one many players earn last is for beating Simon, the hidden superboss. A Clair Obscur platinum service is mostly bought by people caught at one of those two ends, and this guide is about working out whether you are one of them. For the full route, see our free Expedition 33 platinum guide.
What the Expedition 33 order covers
The Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 platinum trophy page lists all 48 bronze, 5 silver and 2 gold trophies plus the platinum, 56 in total, tagged PS5. On PlayStation the game is PS5 only; the Xbox and PC versions have achievements instead of trophies, so this order is for PS5 players. None of the trophies are online, none depend on difficulty, and one playthrough is enough if nothing has been missed.
The missables, and why they matter to buyers
Trophy guides do not agree on the exact count. Early guides listed two missables, both in the opening hours; later ones list five, and patches have softened some of them. These are the ones to check on your own list:
| Trophy | How it gets missed | Can you fix it later? |
|---|---|---|
| A Peculiar Encounter | Only the optional Mime in the Prologue counts; other Mimes do not | Only in New Game+ or on a new save |
| Follow the Trail | One journal needs the Old Key from the Prologue festival | Players report patch 1.5.0 added a later source; not every guide has confirmed it |
| Maelle | At Maelle's relationship level 7 scene, choosing the Lie option blocks it | Not on that save without reloading an earlier one |
| Connoisseur | 33 music records, a couple of them tied to one-time early moments | Depends on which record you missed |
| Professional | Defeat a boss without taking any damage | Usually yes; players report repeatable fights let you retry it |
This is where an order earns its price. If you picked Lie with Maelle or walked past the Prologue Mime 40 hours ago, the do-it-yourself fix is New Game+ or a new save for a single bronze. The platinum page sells completion of the whole list and does not carve out missables, so tell support exactly which trophies you are missing and let them confirm before work starts.

Simon and the endgame
Peace At Last, the trophy for beating Simon, is the one most players call the hardest on the list. Simon waits in a hidden area, hits hard enough to wipe an unprepared party, and is usually beaten with a build made specifically for him, often around one character dealing huge burst damage. Difficulty does not affect any trophy, so lowering it is allowed, but Simon still punishes a party that is not built for the fight.
PowerPyx puts the whole platinum at 50 to 70 hours. For players who finished the story, Simon and the build to beat him can be a big share of what is left, and it is not unusual to see a list stuck one trophy short because of him.
When playing it out is the better call
If none of the trophies in the table are lost on your save, the platinum is one careful playthrough plus postgame, and the combat is the best part of the game. Keep an eye on the Prologue, choose Truth in Maelle's level 7 scene, and you may not need an order at all. Ordering makes the most sense when a missable would force New Game+ for a single bronze, or when Simon is the only thing left and you have no interest in building a team around one fight.

Instant or legit for a 2025 game
The page's "Timestamp type" field gives two options: Instant time-stamps ($15.00) and Legit time-stamps ($25.00). Expedition 33 came out on 24 April 2025, so its lists are still compared on PSNProfiles. A real run unlocks the Prologue trophies on day one, act and boss trophies over the following weeks, and Peace At Last late. Legit spreads unlocks across dates with realistic gaps; instant puts all 56 inside a few seconds, which is cheaper and fine for a private profile. If you already have early trophies with real dates, legit stamps will sit more naturally next to them.
Practical notes before checkout
- Your existing trophies stay. The page prices the whole platinum at a flat $15 or $25 and lists no partial rate, so mention how far you got.
- Your save is not part of the listing. The game's store section sells save products separately; the platinum page is about trophies only.
- Account access. You enter your account details at checkout and staff log in as you on PSN, which means they can view anything the account displays. Remove saved cards first and change your password when the order is done.
- Timing. No delivery window is printed on the page. Watch your inbox after checkout, since email is how the store first gets in touch.
- More RPG platinums. The optional "Platinum trophy for 3 extra games - 20% Off" box costs $36.00 and covers three more games, for example Final Fantasy VII Rebirth or Persona 5.

If the missables or Simon are what stand between you and the platinum, open the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 platinum trophy service, choose instant or legit, and list any trophies you know you missed. Everything else trophy-related lives on the PlayStation trophy hub.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on PS4?
No. On PlayStation it only exists on PS5, which is why the product page carries a PS5 tag. The Xbox and PC versions use achievements, which this order does not cover.
I missed A Peculiar Encounter. Can an order still finish my platinum?
The page sells completion of the full 56-trophy list and does not exclude missable trophies. Tell support exactly which ones you missed so they can confirm before you pay. Doing it yourself would mean New Game+ or a new save.
Do I have to beat Simon for the platinum?
Yes. Peace At Last, the trophy for defeating Simon, is part of the base list, so the platinum cannot pop without it. It is the trophy most players find hardest.
Does difficulty affect any Expedition 33 trophy?
No. No trophy is tied to a difficulty setting, so you can lower it whenever you like. That helps with the story but does not make Simon trivial.
Are there online trophies in Expedition 33?
No. All 56 trophies are offline. You will still share account access for the order, because trophies belong to your PSN profile rather than to the disc or the save.
How long would the platinum take me to do myself?
PowerPyx estimates 50 to 70 hours, and our free guide says 50 to 80. One playthrough is enough if you catch the missables; otherwise add New Game+ time for whatever you lost.
