Few online games keep adding characters for eight years, but Shinobi Striker has. Bandai Namco has released DLC masters through ten season passes since 2018, and Season Pass 10 is still rolling out in 2026. For anyone thinking about a modded save, the DLC side raises the most questions: what counts as DLC, how it is normally unlocked, and what a save can and cannot do about it.
This guide covers how DLC masters work, lists the masters added since 2024 with their release dates, and sets out what to ask before relying on a PS4 or PS5 save for DLC content.
How DLC masters work
Each DLC master is sold as a Master Character Training Pack. Once it is downloaded, you set that character as your master at the Ninjutsu Library in the Hidden Leaf Village online lobby, earn Training Points by playing, and spend them on the pack's rewards. Jiraiya (Sage Mode)'s pack, for example, holds two ninjutsu, a secret technique, a costume, a hairstyle, a weapon and an honorary title. The two most recent season passes each bundle four packs with a bonus item; the original 2018 pass covered more masters.
Bandai Namco also sells Top Secret Training Sets, which deliver every Training Rank 5 reward for a season's masters at once. Two conditions are written into those listings: they only work for DLC masters you have bought, and they do not raise the masters' Training Rank. Training set items are claimed from the Gift Box at the Inn. Starter Packs combine several versions of one character with a training set and ten Moonlight Scrolls; the Sasuke Uchiha pack, for instance, covers three Sasuke masters.

Season Pass 10 so far
Season Pass 10 opened in late May 2026 with Jiraiya (Sage Mode), whose kit is built around Defense Type moves: Sage Art: Bath of Boiling Oil, Sage Art: Frog Song and the Demonic Illusion: Gamarinsho secret technique. Naruto Uzumaki (Sage Mode) followed in August, timed with the game's eighth anniversary, when Bandai Namco also made him playable as a character in a free update. The pass includes a bonus secret technique, Majestic Attire: Susano'o, for the Attack and Defense types.
Two more packs, numbers 50 and 51, are listed for release by March 2027. Bandai Namco says details will follow, so treat any name you see before an official announcement as rumour.

DLC on a modded save: what to check
Both of our saves mention DLC. The unlock-all save lists "Unlock all including DLC", and the Jiraiya save lists "All DLCs Unlocked". What neither page can do is change how Bandai Namco handles ownership, and its own Top Secret Training Sets show that some DLC content is checked against what you have bought. So before ordering, tell support which season passes or master packs you own and ask what you will see for the ones you do not. That one message turns a vague expectation into a clear answer.
The second limit is time. A save can only include what exists on the day it is applied, so packs 50 and 51 will not be on a save ordered today. When they arrive, you would buy and train them like anyone else, which is a good reason to keep the habit of setting the newest master at the Ninjutsu Library.

Combining DLC purchases and a save
Many buyers end up with a mix: they own the season passes for the masters they love and use a save to clear the training, wardrobe and scroll grind around them. That combination avoids the ownership question for the DLC you care about most while still saving the hours. If you only want one or two specific masters, buying those packs and training them yourself may be all you need.
For the rest of the roster, the all masters guide explains rewards versus Training Rank, and the unlock-all DLC guide walks through the unlock-all listing line by line. Both saves are on the Shinobi Striker hub at $50, for PS4 and PS5, with PS Plus required on the receiving account.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many DLC masters does Shinobi Striker have?
The packs are numbered, and Naruto Uzumaki (Sage Mode) in August 2026 was the 49th DLC character. Season Pass 10 lists two more packs by March 2027, which would make 51.
Which season pass is current?
Season Pass 10, which began in late May 2026. Its first two masters are Jiraiya (Sage Mode) and Naruto Uzumaki (Sage Mode); two more are due by March 2027.
Do Top Secret Training Sets work for masters I do not own?
No. Bandai Namco's listing says the set only gives access to rewards from DLC characters you have purchased, and it does not raise their Training Rank.
Will a save ordered now include packs 50 and 51?
No. A save can only hold content that has been released when it is applied. Those masters will need to be bought and trained normally when they launch.
Should I tell support which DLC I own?
Yes. Listing the season passes and master packs on your account lets support tell you exactly what to expect for DLC content before you pay.
