Shinobi Striker All Masters Unlocked: Modded Save Guide

Masters are the backbone of Shinobi Striker progression. Almost every ninjutsu, secret technique and signature costume your avatar can wear comes from training under one of them, and the roster has grown every year since 2018. Clearing all of it by hand is the single biggest time sink in the game, which is why "all masters unlocked" is such a common request for a modded save.

This guide explains how master training works, what our PS4 and PS5 saves actually say about it, and the one distinction worth understanding before you order: unlocking a master's rewards is not quite the same thing as maxing that master's rank.

How master training works

You choose a master at the Ninjutsu Library in the Hidden Leaf Village lobby. From then on, playing earns Training Points for that master, and you spend those points on the rewards in their training list. A typical list includes ninjutsu, one secret technique, a costume, an avatar part such as a hairstyle, sometimes a weapon, and an honorary title. Jiraiya (Sage Mode), for example, offers two Defense Type ninjutsu, the Demonic Illusion: Gamarinsho secret technique, a young Jiraiya outfit and hairstyle, Jiraiya's Scroll and the Toad Sage title.

Training runs up to Rank 5, and the full reward list sits behind it. Because you can only train one master at a time, the real cost is not any single master but the size of the roster. Our older guide to unlocking every jutsu walks through the loop step by step if you want to do it manually.

How big the roster is in 2026

On top of the base game's masters, Bandai Namco has released DLC masters through ten season passes. They are numbered: Jiraiya (Sage Mode) arrived in late May 2026 as the 48th DLC character, and Naruto Uzumaki (Sage Mode) followed in August as number 49. Season Pass 10 still has two more master packs due by March 2027. Recent additions include Kimimaro, Momoshiki Otsutsuki, Kakuzu and Hidan, all from Season Pass 9.

That is a lot of Rank 5 training. Even a dedicated player who trains a new master every few sessions is looking at months of play to clear the DLC list alone, and the last two season passes have added four masters each.

Three ways to get master rewards in Shinobi Striker
RouteWhat you getTraining RankCost

Top Secret Training Set (Bandai Namco)Rank 5 rewards for a group of masters at onceNot increased, per the listingPaid per set; only covers DLC masters you own

Rewards unlocked versus rank maxed

Bandai Namco's own Top Secret Training Sets make the distinction clear: they hand you every Rank 5 reward for the listed masters, yet the masters' Training Rank stays where it was. Most players only care about the rewards, because those are what you equip. Completionists sometimes care about the rank number too.

Our listings describe the outcome in terms of content: the unlock-all save says "unlock all including DLC", and the Jiraiya save adds "All Jutsus Unlocked" and "All DLCs Unlocked". Neither page promises a particular Training Rank display. If the number on each master matters to you, ask support before checkout. If you own none of the season passes, ask about DLC masters specifically as well, since Bandai Namco ties some DLC content to ownership.

Picking masters once everything is open

With the whole roster available, the useful question changes from "who should I grind" to "who fits my type". Every ninjutsu is tagged as Attack, Ranged, Defense or Heal, so start by filtering for your main type and trying the moves that suit how you like to fight. Jiraiya (Sage Mode)'s kit, for instance, is entirely Defense Type, while starter moves such as Rasengan and Lightning Blade are tagged Attack.

Then build two or three loadouts that each lean on a different master's tools, rather than one loadout stuffed with every flashy move. The builds guide has templates per type, and the unlock-all DLC guide covers how DLC content fits into the save.

Still want to train some yourself?

Plenty of buyers keep training after the save goes on. Training is just playing the game with a master set, so it costs nothing extra, and new masters released after your order still need it. Setting the newest master at the Ninjutsu Library before every session is the easiest way to keep up from that point on.

When you are ready, both saves are on the Shinobi Striker hub. The unlock-all save is the straightforward choice for master content; the Jiraiya save adds profile stats and documented perk outfits. Either needs PS Plus active on the PSN account that receives it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will every master show Training Rank 5 after the save?

The listings describe unlocked content rather than a rank display, so we will not promise one. Bandai Namco's own training sets show that rewards and rank can be separate. Ask support before ordering if the rank number matters to you.

Is there any reason to keep visiting the Ninjutsu Library?

Yes, for anything newer than your order. A master released after the save is applied starts from the beginning of its training, and setting it at the Library is how you begin earning its rewards.

Are masters released after my order included?

No. A save can only contain what exists when it is applied. Train new masters normally by setting them at the Ninjutsu Library.

Do I need to own the season passes?

Both listings include DLC in their unlock wording. Because Bandai Namco ties some DLC content to ownership, ask support how DLC masters will behave on your account if you own none of the passes, and get the answer before you pay.

Can I play as a master instead of my avatar?

Masters mainly teach your avatar, but Bandai Namco has also made some characters playable for free, such as Jiraiya in 2018 and Naruto Uzumaki (Sage Mode) for the eighth anniversary in 2026.
