OSRS Agility Training: Fastest Routes From 1 to 99

The fastest OSRS agility training route in November 2026 is quests to level 33, the Brimhaven Agility Arena to 47, the Wilderness Agility Course to 62, and the Hallowed Sepulchre from 62 to 99. If you would rather keep things relaxed or want marks of grace for the Graceful outfit, the rooftop courses are slower but steady from level 1 all the way up. Below are the requirements, rough experience rates from the OSRS Wiki, the diary bonuses that speed up rooftops, and the new Graveyard course Jagex has planned for this month.

We checked this against the OSRS Wiki's Agility training, Graceful outfit and Achievement Diary pages, plus Jagex's Graveyard rewards blog and November 2026 news, in November 2026.

Skip the Slow Start With Quests

The first levels are the least efficient to train by hand, and quests skip them entirely. According to the wiki, completing The Tourist Trap (using its experience reward on Agility twice), Recruitment Drive, The Depths of Despair and The Grand Tree grants 19,700 Agility experience, enough to take a fresh account from level 1 to 33. The Tourist Trap alone covers level 1 to 26, and finishing it is faster than running the low-level courses.

All four quests have light requirements, but each involves some combat, so expect to bring food and a weapon. If you are playing an Ironman, these quests double as early unlocks, which is why our Ironman guide puts questing first.

Before leaving the quest phase, think about stamina potions and boosts. The wiki recommends always running and using stamina potions or another run energy source for the best rates, keeping weight at zero or below where possible, and boosting with summer pies or agility potions to reach a higher course earlier. Players who fail often or have low Hitpoints should also carry some food.

The Fastest Route From 20 to 99

From level 20 to 47, the Brimhaven Agility Arena is the quickest option. Entry costs 200 coins. The floor spikes trap only needs level 20 and, with a summer pie boost, can reach up to 30,000 experience an hour from as low as level 15. At level 40 you can pass every obstacle, and tagging the pillar that activates roughly every 60 seconds while using the spikes in between brings around 45,000 to 50,000 an hour. Karamja gloves 2 or better add 10 percent to the arena's experience.

From 47 to 62, the Wilderness Agility Course takes over. It normally needs level 52, but a summer pie boosts you in from 47, though level 49 is needed for the pipe. The wiki puts rates at about 50,000 to 60,000 an hour including fails and tickets, but it sits deep in the Wilderness, so player killers can cut that sharply. Risk as little as possible there.

From 62 onward, the Hallowed Sepulchre is the fastest method. It requires the Sins of the Father quest, and the wiki's floor table runs from 45,000 an hour on Floor 1 at level 52 to around 98,500 an hour when doing Floor 5 at 87. Experienced players in a private instance, unlocked for 200 hallowed marks, can reach roughly 102,000 to 105,000 an hour. Some coffin obstacles need other skills, including 56 Construction for the broken bridges, so our Construction training guide is worth a look if that blocks you. After The Blood Moon Rises, the Rockslide shortcut in Vampyrium adds 550 experience every seven and a half minutes on top of other training from level 78.

Rooftop Courses and Marks of Grace

Rooftop courses are slower than the routes above but need far less attention, which lets you add High Level Alchemy or fletch darts while running. Their real value is marks of grace, the currency for the Graceful outfit, which spawn randomly while you run laps.

Rooftop courses by level (OSRS Wiki Agility training page, November 2026)
LevelsCourseAgility XP per hour
1 to 20Draynor Village9,000 to 10,000
20 to 30Al Kharid11,000 to 12,000

60 to 70Seers' Village50,000 to 56,000 with the diary teleport
70 to 80Pollnivneach53,000 to 58,000 with the hard Desert Diary
80 to 90Rellekka59,000 to 63,000 with the hard Fremennik Diary
90 to 99Ardougne66,000 to 70,000

A few mark rules shape which course you choose. Marks despawn after 10 minutes, so pick them up as they appear, except on the Ardougne course, where marks only spawn on one tile and each new mark resets the timer for the whole stack. On every course except Canifis, the spawn rate drops to 20 percent of normal once your unboosted level is 20 or more above the course requirement, which is why players move up as soon as they can. Canifis is a popular stop because its mark rate is high for its level and never drops.

Achievement Diaries make rooftops noticeably better. The hard Kandarin Diary lets you set the Camelot Teleport to land right by the Seers' course, which is needed for its best rates, and the Kandarin easy, medium and hard tiers give a 5, 10 and 15 percent chance of a mark on a failed roll. The hard Desert and hard Fremennik diaries raise experience at Pollnivneach and Rellekka, and the elite Ardougne Diary improves the mark rate in Ardougne. Our Achievement Diary guide covers which tiers are worth doing first.

Why the Graceful Outfit Comes First

Graceful is weight-reducing clothing bought from Grace in the Rogues' Den beneath the Toad and Chicken in Burthorpe, and it can only be paid for with marks of grace. The full set costs 260 marks: 35 for the hood, 40 for the cape, 55 for the top, 60 for the legs, 30 for the gloves and 40 for the boots. Selling the whole uncoloured set back to Grace returns 208 marks.

The payoff is run energy. Each piece speeds up run energy restoration a little, adding up to 20 percent, and wearing the full set adds another 10 percent for a total of 30 percent. Combined with the weight reduction, that makes almost every other activity in the game faster, which is why most guides put Graceful near the top of any new account's to-do list.

Once you own the set, spare marks still have value. The wiki notes they can buy recolours or amylase crystals, which sell on the Grand Exchange and make each extra mark worth some gold. Our money making guide covers how that fits alongside other Agility earners such as the Agility Pyramid and the Hallowed Sepulchre.

Good Alternatives Worth Knowing

Several courses fill gaps if you lack a requirement or want a change of pace. The Ape Atoll course opens at 48 after chapter 2 of Monkey Madness I and needs a ninja monkey or Kruk greegree; it gives around 30,000 to 35,000 an hour at 48, rising to about 55,000 once you stop failing at 75. The Shayzien Advanced course works from 45 with a crossbow and a mith grapple.

The Colossal Wyrm course has a basic route at 50 and an advanced route at 62, the latter giving up to 42,000 an hour with only six clicks per lap. Its termites and amylase packs make it the quickest source of marks before Ardougne at 90. The Werewolf course from 60 needs Creature of Fenkenstrain and a ring of charos and pairs good rates with about 10 to 15 marks an hour. From 75, the Prifddinas course after Song of the Elves gives up to around 65,000 an hour at 90 plus crystal shards.

Barbarian Fishing also deserves a mention because it gives passive Agility and Strength experience. Taking Fishing from 58 to 99 that way carries Agility from 30 to 74, so if you plan to train Fishing like that, do it before running courses. The Edgeville Dungeon monkeybars are another low-level option, offering up to 13,200 experience an hour from level 15 with almost no movement, but they sit in the Wilderness, so player killers can find you there too.

The Graveyard Course Coming in November

Jagex has a new option on the way. Its Graveyard rewards blog, published on 18 September 2026, describes the Graveyard Course, an underwater cavern full of shipwrecks unlocked by The Graveyard quest and aimed at players between 65 and 80 Agility. The blog estimates 65,000 to 75,000 experience an hour at high intensity with tick-perfect play, around 55,000 to 60,000 at low intensity, and 30 or more marks of grace an hour on the high-intensity route.

Other planned rewards include a better Giant squirrel pet rate than the Penguin course and a rare Fremennik graceful ornament kit from a chest that needs 65 Thieving to picklock. Jagex's RuneFest 2026 post says the quest is planned for November, and the wiki's upcoming updates page lists it for this month, but as of 6 November it has not been released, so treat these figures as the developer's estimates until it is live.

Skipping the Laps

Agility is one of the most repetitive skills in the game, and not everyone wants to run tens of thousands of laps. Our Old School RuneScape page includes account listings, some with Agility levels or Graceful already in place, and the selection rotates daily.

Jagex does not allow it, though: its rules call for each account to be used only by the person who created it, bar transferring or lending accounts, and say no one has Jagex's permission to sell an account. Every route above gets you to the same place legitimately.
