NTE Banner Schedule: Current and Next Banners (Nov 2026)

As of November 6, 2026, the live limited character banner in Neverness to Everness is Dazzling Star, featuring Akane Rin, which runs from October 21 until the Version 1.5 update on November 11. The NTE banner schedule after that is set: Elyms debuts on Android Dreams alongside a Shinku rerun from November 11 to December 2, then Exe arrives on Offline Equations with a Chaos rerun from December 2 to December 23.

We checked this against the NTE Build banner tracker, Game8's banner list and Version 1.5 page, Final Weapon's Version 1.4 announcement coverage and MMOBomb's 1.5 livestream report in November 2026.

What Is on the Boards Right Now

Akane Rin is the second-half character of Version 1.4 and the current headliner. She is a Lakshana main DPS, a member of the WHOOTS band at the StarSign live house alongside Zero, Haniel and Nanally, and she fights by building String Energy with basic attacks to power an enhanced Redirect Skill. Icy Veins highlights her ability to keep the Remora slow applied to enemies while that skill is active, which makes her especially useful in Charge teams. Her board, Dazzling Star, closes when the November 11 maintenance begins.

Running alongside her is the Celestial Special Arc Research Program, the weapon board for this phase, which Final Weapon lists from October 21 to November 11. Arcs are pulled with Tri-Keys rather than dice, so spending on one board does not drain the other's currency.

If you are on the fence, the two biggest tier lists agree she is worth it. Icy Veins rated Akane Rin S tier on October 20, and Game8 placed her in its new SS tier on October 23. Our full NTE tier list comparison shows where she sits against the rest of the cast.

Version 1.5 Banners: Elyms, Exe and Two Reruns

Version 1.5, "Once Upon a Glitched Call," was revealed in a livestream on October 28, 2026. Both new characters belong to the Bureau of Anomaly Control's tech team, and each phase brings back an older limited character.

  • Phase 1, November 11 to December 2: Elyms on the Android Dreams board, with her signature Arc, Echoes on Hold. Shinku returns on Before the Dawn, and Game8 notes she comes back with her signature Arc, Blushing Mirage. The phase ends at 05:59 (UTC+8) on December 2.
  • Phase 2, December 2 to December 23: Exe on the Offline Equations board, with his signature Arc, Dotted Horizon. Chaos returns on Forsaken Path alongside What's Desired. This phase ends at 05:59 (UTC+8) on December 23.

Elyms is a Cosmos Esper with the Instant Cycle support role, the same role and attribute as the protagonist, Esper Zero. Game8 suggests she may work as a direct upgrade to Zero in that slot, which would make her valuable in a lot of teams, but that is an early read rather than a tested verdict. Exe is a Chaos Esper and a main DPS with a brand new Summoner role: he builds Frames by landing hits and spends them to summon Digital Echoes.

Version 1.5 also makes pre-farming easier, which matters if you plan to pull. Game8 lists a new Upgrade Target feature that tracks the Ascension materials for upcoming characters, and the Amber Broodmother returns as a weekly Anomalous Pilgrimage boss that drops Ascension materials for both Elyms and Exe. If either character is on your list, set the target as soon as the update lands and start clearing that boss each week, so your new pull is not stuck at a low level while you farm.

The reruns matter as much as the new faces. Shinku has not been on a board since her July debut, and Chaos last appeared in late June and early July, so anyone who started after late July has never had a chance at either one.

Every Limited Banner Since Launch

NTE has followed a steady rhythm since April: two phases per version, and from Version 1.3 onward each phase pairs one new character with one rerun. This table lists every limited character board from launch to the scheduled 1.5 phases, using NTE Build's tracker with banner names from Game8.

Neverness to Everness limited character banners, April to December 2026
PhaseFeatured S-class (board)Dates
1.0 Phase 1NanallyApr 29 to May 13
1.0 Phase 2HotoriMay 13 to Jun 3
1.1 Phase 1LacrimosaJun 3 to Jun 24
1.1 Phase 2ChaosJun 24 to Jul 8
1.2 Phase 1ShinkuJul 8 to Jul 29
1.2 Phase 2Iroi (The Lifeline)Jul 29 to Aug 19
1.3 Phase 1Zankou (Alluring Shadows), Nanally rerun (The Ichi-Daime)Aug 19 to Sep 9
1.3 Phase 2Linko (Surfing All Channels!), Hotori rerun (Misty Tipsy Style)Sep 9 to Sep 30
1.4 Phase 1Blackbird (Foretold Finale), Lacrimosa rerun (Fading Reverie)Sep 30 to Oct 21
1.4 Phase 2Akane Rin (Dazzling Star)Oct 21 to Nov 11
1.5 Phase 1Elyms (Android Dreams), Shinku rerun (Before the Dawn)Nov 11 to Dec 2
1.5 Phase 2Exe (Offline Equations), Chaos rerun (Forsaken Path)Dec 2 to Dec 23

Two patterns stand out. First, phase lengths settled at three weeks after launch: some of the earliest phases ran only two weeks, while everything from Version 1.2 onward has run 21 days. Second, reruns have come back in launch order. Nanally and Hotori, the two launch characters, returned in Version 1.3, Lacrimosa followed in 1.4, and Shinku and Chaos are next in 1.5. Nothing official confirms that order will continue, but if it does, Iroi would be the next character due for a return after Chaos.

A caution on dates: banner trackers sometimes disagree by a day, because the game uses server time and the switch happens during maintenance. NTE Build's own countdowns assume a 10:00 open and a 05:59 close, which it notes is the site's assumption rather than an official time. Use the in-game board timer for the exact moment.

The Standard Board Never Leaves

Next to the limited boards sits the permanent standard board, Strange Encounters, which uses Fabricated Dice instead of Solid Dice. Its S-class pool is six characters: Sakiri, Baicang, Fadia, Hathor, Daffodill and Jiuyuan.

Two rules make it worth some attention even for limited-focused players. The first 50 pulls are discounted, with a 10-pull costing 8 Fabricated Dice instead of 10, and after those 50 pulls you unlock a free selector that lets you pick one of the six standard characters. Dexerto notes that selector never expires. Standard pity is tracked on its own counter, separate from the limited boards, so pulling here never eats into your progress toward a limited character.

The standard pool is stronger than it was at launch. Daffodill has climbed to S tier on both major tier lists because break-focused teams are now the meta, and Sakiri sits in Game8's SS tier as a buffer. If your selector is still unused, those two are the names most guides now point to.

One timing tip from Icy Veins: hold the selector until you have pulled at least one standard S-class on your own. The selector stays available even if you get a character early, so opening it last lets you fill whichever gap the dice left, instead of picking a character the board then hands you anyway a few pulls later. The same logic applies to the S-class selection boxes from events and City Tycoon milestones.

How Pity and Progress Carry Between Banners

One of the friendlier parts of the NTE banner system is how much progress follows you from board to board. Final Weapon's summary of the Version 1.4 rules states that all limited boards share the S-class pity counter and the Board Modification progress. In practice that means 40 pulls on Akane Rin's board leave you at 40 on Elyms' board when it opens.

  • Hard pity: a featured S-class character within 90 pulls, with no 50/50 on limited boards.
  • Board Modification: at 70 pulls without an S-class, the board changes and the S-class rate jumps sharply until you land one.
  • Cosmetic milestones: a glider skin at 50 pulls, a vehicle skin at 120 and a character outfit at 200 on the limited boards. That progress is tracked per board but carries over to a rerun of the board with the same name.
  • Arc boards: a separate pity track paid with Tri-Keys, which also carries between rotations.

Our guide to the gacha system covers the dice, rates and the Arc board math in detail.

Planning Your Pulls Through December

With three limited characters and two reruns arriving in the next seven weeks, the budget question is real. A worst-case 90 pulls costs 14,400 Annulith at 160 per die, so chasing every board is not realistic for most accounts. A few principles help:

  • Pick by team, not by hype. Elyms' value depends on whether she outperforms Zero in your teams, while Exe's Summoner kit is untested. Waiting a few days for early impressions costs nothing because both boards run three weeks.
  • Use the reruns. If your account already lacks a Lakshana or Cosmos carry, Chaos or Shinku are proven options, both rated S on Icy Veins' October list.
  • Bank the version rewards. Version 1.5's Circle Gifts login event pays 10 Solid Dice across seven days of check-ins, which is a full 10-pull toward whichever board you choose.

For teams that make each character shine, see the best NTE teams for November 2026, and the codes guide covers when the next free Annulith is likely to show up.

When the Banner You Wanted Is Gone

Limited characters rotate out for months at a time, and no rerun date is announced far in advance. Some players who missed Nanally, Zankou or Blackbird look at accounts that already have them, and the store's Neverness to Everness section lists accounts from independent sellers, usually labeled by server region and the limited S-class characters on them. The selection changes daily.

The game's Terms of Service are worth reading first: they prohibit selling, transferring, lending or giving away an account. Waiting for a rerun is slower, but both launch characters have already had one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the current banner in NTE?

Akane Rin's Dazzling Star board, running from October 21 to November 11, 2026, with the Celestial Special Arc board alongside it.

Who is the next banner in Neverness to Everness?

Elyms, a new Cosmos support, opens on November 11 with a Shinku rerun. Exe, a Chaos Summoner DPS, follows on December 2 with a Chaos rerun.

How long do NTE banners last?

Since Version 1.2, each phase has lasted 21 days, with two phases per version. Some phases in the first two versions ran two weeks.

Does pity carry over to the next banner?

No date has been announced. Nanally already had one rerun in Version 1.3, and the schedule through December 23 does not include either character.

What time do NTE banners change?

Phases end at 05:59 server time (UTC+8) and new boards open after maintenance on update days. Check the in-game timer for your local time.
