How to Get Super Credits in Helldivers 2 (Nov 2026)

Helldivers 2 YouTube thumbnail: How to Farm Super Credits FAST in Helldivers 2

You get Super Credits in Helldivers 2 three ways without paying: picking them up at minor points of interest during missions, unlocking them from Warbond pages with medals, and completing Premium Warbonds that pay part of their cost back. You can also buy them, but a patient player can fund new Warbonds from play alone. Here are the numbers as of November 2026, including where credits spawn, how much each Warbond returns and what the full catalog costs.

We checked this against the Helldivers wiki's Super Credits page (updated 3 November 2026), Arrowhead's patch notes on Steam and the studio's July 2026 economy announcement.

The Three Free Sources at a Glance

Every free Super Credit in the game comes from one of three places. The first is loot on the map: minor points of interest such as drop pods, cargo containers and bunkers can hold a stack of credits. The second is the free Helldivers Mobilize! Warbond, which has a stack of credits on every page. The third is the Premium Warbonds you buy with credits, each of which carries a 100 credit stack on every page, so finishing one returns 300.

Major Orders are not on that list. Their reward pool is medals, Requisition Slips, equipment and stratagems, as our Major Order guide explains, so they help you indirectly by paying medals that unlock Warbond pages. Legendary Warbonds, the crossover ones, contain no Super Credits at all.

The rough plan most players follow is simple: farm map loot when you want credits quickly, and treat Warbond pages as a slower, steadier income that also gives you gear on the way.

Where Super Credits Spawn in Missions

On the map, credits appear in minor places of interest. The wiki lists the usual stack as 10 credits, and very rarely a stack of 100. A few details make a big difference to how fast you collect them:

  • Difficulty: minor points of interest spawn more densely on Trivial and Medium, which is why low-difficulty sweeps are the classic farming route.
  • Mission type: Eradicate missions cannot spawn minor points of interest, so skip them when farming.
  • Sharing: credits are credited to every Helldiver in the mission the moment someone picks them up, and you keep them even if the mission is abandoned.
  • Factory worlds: the 7.0.0 update on 12 August 2026 gave Helldivers a chance to find Super Credits on Factory worlds and fixed an issue that had stopped them spawning in Factory Cities.

Because pickups are shared, a full squad of four sweeping different corners of the map earns credits four times faster than a solo player, with no downside. Assign each diver a quadrant, regroup at extraction and you will cover far more ground. Cargo containers need to be opened before you can loot them, and the G-4 Gas grenade can open the special loot containers at minor points of interest, which saves time if you are already carrying it.

A simple routine keeps a farming session efficient:

  1. Pick a Trivial or Medium mission that is not an Eradicate mission, on any front your squad is comfortable with.
  2. Before dropping, agree which part of the map each diver will sweep, and land near the middle so nobody has a long walk.
  3. Head for every icon that marks a minor point of interest: drop pods, cargo containers and bunkers. Grab the credits, medals and Requisition you find, since all of it is shared.
  4. Ignore side objectives that do not have loot nearby. On these difficulties the main objective is quick, so finish it once the sweep is done.
  5. Extract, check the totals and queue the next mission on a fresh map, since a new map means new points of interest.

Keep expectations honest. With stacks of 10 being the norm, a single sweep rarely produces a big number, and the occasional 100 stack is a bonus rather than a plan. The routine works because it is repeatable and low stress, and because every pickup lands in all four players' accounts at once.

Armor helps too. The Feet First passive raises point-of-interest identification range by 30 percent, so you spot loot icons from farther away. Our armor passives guide lists which other passives suit a looting run.

Warbond Pages: A Slow but Steady Bank

Helldivers Mobilize! is the free Warbond every player owns, and the wiki counts a stack of 50 or 100 credits on every page, 750 in total. Those credit stacks are items you buy with medals, and their price rises from 1 medal on the first page to 50 on the last, so the early credits come cheap and the late ones take some saving.

Premium Warbonds cost 1,000 Super Credits each and put a stack of 100 credits on each page, 300 per completed Warbond. Those three stacks cost 7, 12 and 32 medals respectively. In practice this means a finished Premium Warbond effectively costs you 700, and the 300 you get back is almost a third of the way to the next one.

Here is what that looks like for a brand new player. Finishing Helldivers Mobilize! returns 750 credits, so you need only 250 more from map pickups to afford your first Premium Warbond. Completing that Warbond then hands back 300, which means the second one needs 700 from other sources, and so on. Each completed Warbond shortens the gap to the next, and none of it requires spending money if you are patient.

That makes medals the real bottleneck. The medal cap is 250, and anything earned above it is lost, so convert medals into Warbond pages regularly rather than letting them pile up. Our medals farming guide shows how many medals each difficulty pays per mission, which tells you how quickly you can move through a Warbond. If you are choosing which Premium Warbond to buy first, our best Warbond rankings are a good place to start.

What Super Credits Buy and How Far They Stretch

Credits have two main uses: unlocking Warbonds and buying from the Superstore, where armor and other items are sold individually. The wiki's totals, last recalculated on 20 October 2026 for version 1.007.200, put the costs at:

  • 22 Premium Warbonds at 1,000 credits each, 22,000 in total
  • 3 Legendary Warbonds at 1,500 credits each, 4,500 in total
  • the Superstore's permanent catalog at 20,755 credits

Together that is 47,255 Super Credits for a new player to own everything that is permanently available. The wiki flags these totals as possibly outdated as new content releases, so treat them as a snapshot rather than a fixed figure.

Legendary Warbonds deserve a separate note. They cost 1,500 credits, return nothing, and still ask for medals on top: when the Killzone Legendary Warbond arrived in December 2025, Arrowhead explained that you unlock it for 1,500 Super Credits and then redeem its items with medals as usual. Budget for both currencies before you buy one.

The useful takeaway is priority. A Premium Warbond bundles weapons, throwables, armor and cosmetics into one purchase, while Superstore items are bought one at a time. If you want gameplay value from limited credits, Premium Warbonds usually come first, and each one you finish refunds part of the next.

Buying Super Credits

If you do decide to buy, the platform stores sell Super Credits in packs of 150, 375, 1,000, 2,100, 5,800 and 13,000. Prices differ by region and platform, so check your own store page. Two practical points: a single 1,000 pack covers exactly one Premium Warbond, and larger packs include more credits per unit of currency, so if you know you will buy several Warbonds, one bigger pack usually goes further than several small ones.

Remember there is no cross-progression. Credits bought or farmed on PS5 stay on PS5, and the same goes for Steam and Xbox. If you are planning to switch platforms or play with friends elsewhere, read our crossplay guide before spending real money.

Farming Without Getting Flagged

In July 2026, Arrowhead announced stronger monitoring of suspicious Super Credit activity. The studio said accounts earning at rates substantially higher than the best real players ever recorded would now meet countermeasures, targeting cheaters, botters and duplication exploits, and that the same approach was rolling out to medals, samples and Requisition. It was clear that normal play, including marathon grinding sessions clearing points of interest, would see no change.

The lesson is to farm the honest way. Low-difficulty sweeps with a full squad, Warbond page credits and Premium Warbond refunds add up steadily, and none of them come close to the rates the monitoring targets. Avoid anything that promises automated or duplicated credits. On 20 October 2026 the game also moved to Easy Anti-Cheat with extra security tools aimed at cheat mods, so shortcuts of that kind are a bigger gamble than ever. If something looks wrong with your balance, Arrowhead directs players to its player support team.

If You Would Rather Skip the Sweep

Sweeping maps for 10-credit stacks works, but it is slow. If you would rather spend your time on harder missions, the store's Helldivers 2 boosting hub lists Super Credits, medals, Requisition Slips, level boosts and other services for Steam and PlayStation. Listings change often, so check current availability before you plan around one. The hub does not list Xbox.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the fastest way to get Super Credits in Helldivers 2 for free?

A full squad sweeping minor points of interest on Trivial or Medium, skipping Eradicate missions. Pickups are shared with everyone in the mission, so four players cover the map far faster than one.

How many Super Credits does the free Warbond give?

Helldivers Mobilize! holds 750 Super Credits in total, in stacks of 50 or 100 on every page.

Do Premium Warbonds give Super Credits back?

Yes. Each Premium Warbond costs 1,000 credits and contains 300 in total. Legendary Warbonds contain none.

Do you keep Super Credits if the mission fails?

Yes. Credits are added the moment they are picked up and stay with you even if the mission is abandoned or lost.

Can you get Super Credits on higher difficulties?

Yes, but minor points of interest spawn more densely on Trivial and Medium, so low difficulties are usually quicker for credits alone.

Do Super Credits transfer between PS5, PC and Xbox?

No. Helldivers 2 has no cross-progression, so currencies stay on the platform where you earned or bought them.
