Dragon's Dogma 2 has no cheat codes. There is no console command box, no secret button combination and no god mode toggle in the options, on PC or on console. Every "cheat" people talk about is one of three things: a PC tool that edits the game while it runs, an exploit that the game allowed until Capcom patched it, or a save that has been edited before you load it.
Below is a side-by-side look at each route, what it can give you (god mode, infinite money, Rift Crystals, stamina), which platforms it works on and what can go wrong. Checked in October 2026, after the Dark Arisen expansion and the free updates that came before it.
Trainers and Cheat Engine tables (PC only)
On PC, trainers are small programs that sit next to the game and flip values with hotkeys: infinite health, infinite stamina, one-hit kills, gold and Rift Crystal edits, carry weight and so on. Cheat Engine tables do the same job with more manual control, letting you change item counts or stats directly in memory.
Both work only on Windows, and both target one specific version of the game. Capcom's 2026 updates, followed by the Dark Arisen expansion on 9 October, changed the game enough that older tables and trainer builds stopped working until their makers caught up. Expect the same after every future patch.

The risks are real but manageable if you are careful:
- Bad downloads. Free trainers reposted on random sites and in video descriptions are a common way to spread password stealers. Use well-known sources only and never disable your antivirus for a file.
- Broken saves. Pushing a value past what the game expects can corrupt a save. Dragon's Dogma 2 also leans on autosaves, so a mistake can get written over your progress quickly. Copy your save folder before you start.
- Your pawn goes online. Other players can hire your main pawn through the Rift, so anything that changes your pawn travels with it.
Glitches and exploits
Since launch, players have found ways to farm gold, items and XP far faster than intended. Some still work, many have been patched, and video titles promising hundreds of thousands of gold an hour are often from older versions. Check the upload date and the comments before you spend an evening on one.
Exploits have one big advantage over every other option here: they work on PS5 and Xbox. The downside is that they only cover one resource at a time, and you are still grinding, just faster.

Every cheat route compared
| Method | PC | PS5 | What it can do | Main risk |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cheat codes or console commands | None | None | Nothing, the game has no cheat system | Fake "code" sites |
| Trainers | Yes | No | God mode, infinite stamina, gold and RC, one-hit kills | Malware in fake downloads, stops working after patches |
| Cheat Engine tables | Yes | No | Direct edits to items, stats and money | Crashes and corrupted saves |
| Mods and save editors | Yes | No | Permanent changes to stats, items and systems | Need updating after every patch |
| Glitches and exploits | Yes | Yes | Fast gold, items or XP while they last | Patched without warning |
| Pre-made modded save | Yes, as a file | Yes, applied to your account | Level 999, edited stats, infinite gold and RC, everything unlocked | PS5 delivery means sharing account access during setup |
What about cheats on PS5?
Trainers, Cheat Engine and mods can't run on a PS5, because the console only runs software Sony has approved and gives no access to a game's memory or files. Anything sold as a PS5 cheat download, mod menu or code generator should be treated as a scam. Our PS5 mods explainer goes into why.
That leaves console players with exploits, the official helpers Capcom has added (the free Eternal Ferrystone removes most of the fast-travel grind), or a modded save that has already been edited for them.
The cheat wish list, without running a cheat
Look at what people actually search for: god mode, infinite money, infinite Rift Crystals, infinite stamina, one-hit kills, unlock everything. Our Dragon's Dogma 2 Level 999 + Infinite Stats save covers that list in one go, with no trainer running and nothing to update when Capcom patches the game.
It starts you at level 999 with edited stats: no death, no stamina drain, one-shot damage and practically unlimited carry weight. You also get infinite gold, infinite Rift Crystals, unlimited Discipline, every vocation unlocked at max rank, all weapons, armor, rings and skills, all resources maxed and 999+ Port Crystals. Your main pawn matches your level and stats. The story starts from the beginning; you will be carrying every quest key, but we suggest leaving locked doors alone until the story gets there, so you don't spoil it.
It works on PC (a save file with install steps) and PS5 (we sign in and apply it, with PlayStation Plus active on that account). No Xbox or Switch 2. It is $50 and you need your own copy of the game. If you only want money, the gold packs on our Dragon's Dogma 2 page are a lighter touch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are there cheat codes in Dragon's Dogma 2?
No. The game has no cheat codes, console commands or god mode setting on any platform. Cheats come from PC tools, exploits or edited saves.
Is there a god mode in Dragon's Dogma 2?
Not officially. On PC, trainers and Cheat Engine tables can make you invincible. On PS5 the only way is a save that has already been edited, such as our Level 999 save with no death and no stamina drain.
Do Dragon's Dogma 2 trainers still work after Dark Arisen?
Only versions updated for the current game build. Trainers and tables target a specific version, so the big 2026 updates broke many of them for a while. Check the date of the latest update on whatever you use.
How do I get infinite money and Rift Crystals on PS5?
You can farm with whatever exploits still work, or start from a modded save that already has infinite gold and Rift Crystals. PS5 can't run trainers or Cheat Engine.
Can cheating ruin my save?
It can. Memory edits and outdated tables can push values the game doesn't expect, and autosaves can lock a mistake in quickly. Always copy your save before trying anything.
Will I get banned for cheating in Dragon's Dogma 2?
We can't guarantee anything either way. It is a single-player game, but your pawn is shared online through the Rift, so keep cheats sensible and back up before you experiment.
