Xenoverse 2 All 8 CaCs Modded Save: Roster Planning

Xenoverse 2 gives every account eight custom character slots, yet most players finish one or two Time Patrollers before the grind wears them down. The modded save on our store fills all eight at Level 199. That is only worth having if the eight slots end up as eight genuinely different fighters, so this guide covers how the roster arrives, how to divide races and roles across it, and which two slots deserve extra care.

What "all 8 CaCs" covers in this save

The product listing is specific about the roster. Every slot sits at Level 199, which since the Future Saga Chapter 4 update in July 2026 is the game's own level cap rather than an invented number. History Mode is unlocked on all eight characters, DLC chapters included, and the mascots, auras and titles are spread across the whole roster instead of piled onto a single hero. Custom mentors are listed as leveled up as well, so partner progress is not something you rebuild for each new character.

Two slots are not like the others. The listing says new stats have been added to the first and second CaC, and it separately notes that some skills are modded, including transformations. The remaining six characters are maxed at the normal cap without that extra stat layer. Keep track of which is which, because it decides where each character belongs later. Our Level 199 explainer covers how the cap itself was raised.

Five races, eight body types: reading what you have

Xenoverse 2 has five playable races, and three of them (Earthling, Saiyan and Majin) can be built as male or female, while Namekians and the Frieza Race have a single body type. That makes exactly eight race and body combinations, the same number as there are slots. A character's race cannot be changed after creation, so the first job once the save lands is simply to see which races you have and give each one a role that suits it, rather than forcing a plan the roster does not fit.

Race guides written since launch describe the broad differences like this: Earthlings are balanced and refill ki on their own, Saiyans hit hard but carry less health and grow stronger as a fight turns against them, Namekians carry high health and regenerate when badly hurt, Frieza Race fighters are quick and recover stamina by attacking, and Majins accept slow stamina recovery in exchange for tough defense. Body type shifts things again; female Saiyans, for example, recover ki and stamina faster but have less health. Years of patches have tuned the numbers, so treat these as tendencies and confirm them in Training.

Making eight builds feel different

With levels and currency already handled, the levers left are attribute points, Super Souls, QQ Bangs and skill sets. Spread them on purpose. Give each slot one job, such as strike pressure, ki blast zoning, support or tanking, and pick a Super Soul that serves that job rather than copying one popular soul onto all eight. The save lists every Super Soul and QQ Bangs at Level 6 +5, so nothing is locked behind a farm. Our CaC build and Super Souls guide is the place to plan those pairings.

Skill sets are the other lever. Because every skill is unlocked, including the ones earned through the Festival of Universes event, it is tempting to give all eight characters the same flashy Ultimates. Resist it. Rotating different Supers, Evasives and Awoken Skills across the roster is what lets you compare playstyles side by side, and comparison is the real reason to own eight maxed characters at once.

Slots 1 and 2: added stats, handled with care

The extra stats on the first two characters are the closest thing in this package to a power fantasy, and they are best enjoyed offline: History Mode replays, solo Parallel Quests, Training and Photo Mode. In ranked matches or lobbies full of strangers, an obviously boosted character is the kind of thing other players report, and Bandai Namco has said publicly that action may be taken against people who hack the game. If you want to play online, slots 3 to 8 carry no added stats and are the more conservative picks, although no modded save can be called risk free. The online ban risk guide goes into the detail.

Mentors, partners and the Dual Ultimate

Leveled custom mentors are easy to overlook. Since the 1.09.00 update, reaching Partner Level with an instructor unlocks their Dual Ultimate Attack, and Partner Customization lets you rework an instructor's skill set once their Initiation Test is done. With mentors already leveled on delivery, those systems are open from the first load rather than earned slot by slot through dozens of lessons. Match each character with an instructor whose style suits the role you gave it, then try the pairing in Training before committing.

A first-session checklist

  • Load each slot once and note its race, body type and outfit so you know the starting point.
  • Identify the two characters with added stats and reserve them for offline play.
  • Give every slot one Super Soul and one QQ Bang that match its role.
  • Try a different instructor's Dual Ultimate on each character in Training.
  • Settle on a skill set per slot before you start swapping Ultimates around.

If an eight-character roster is what you are after, the complete package costs $50 for PS4 and PS5 on the Xenoverse 2 modded save page. You need to own the game, and the listing is clear that it is not available for Xbox or PC.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all eight characters identical?

No. All eight are at Level 199 with History Mode unlocked, but the listing says only the first and second CaC have added stats, and some skills, including transformations, are modded. The other six are maxed within the game's normal limits.

Can I choose the race or look of each character?

The listing does not mention choosing races or appearances per slot. If a particular race or design matters to you, ask through the contact page before you order instead of assuming it can be arranged.

Is Level 199 above the normal level cap?

No. The Future Saga Chapter 4 update raised the cap from 180 to 199 in July 2026, so the eight characters sit at the same maximum a legitimate player can reach today.

What happens to my current characters?

The delivered file is a complete eight-slot roster, so plan on it replacing the Xenoverse 2 progress on the account rather than merging with it. If there is a character you want to keep, back up your own save and raise it with support before checkout.

Which character should I take online?

If you play online at all, slots 3 to 8 are the more conservative choice because they carry no added stats. Keep slots 1 and 2 for offline modes, and remember that any modded save carries some risk online.

Does the roster work on Xbox or PC?

No. The product is for PS4 and PS5 only, and the listing states it is not available for PC or Xbox.
