Delta Force Mobile: Requirements, Modes and Tips

The mobile version of Delta Force is the same free-to-play tactical shooter as the PC and console game, rebuilt for touch screens, with the Operations extraction mode and a mobile Warfare mode promoted as 24v24. It has been officially live worldwide on iOS and Android since April 21, 2025, receives every season update on the same day as PC and console, and as of November 2026 the App Store asks for at least iOS 12, 2 GB of RAM and an A10 chip, while recommending iOS 14, 4 GB and an A13.

We checked this against the official Delta Force website, the App Store listing, and the official patch notes and security briefs on Steam in November 2026.

What the Phone Version Is

This is not a cut-down spin-off. The official site describes the extraction mode, Operations, as a next-gen extraction shooter where you reach an extraction point with your squad and secure supplies, and it promotes Warfare on phones as the first mobile warfare in all-out 24v24 combat, with land, sea and air vehicles. Seasons, operators and most events are shared with the other platforms, which is why mobile players talk about the same maps and patch notes as PC players.

The launch history explains why. The developer celebrated the official global launch of Delta Force on both PC and mobile on April 21, 2025, when the Eclipse Vigil season began, and since then every season has rolled out to all platforms together. For Season Reorientation, the Android and iOS updates went live at 02:00 UTC on September 8, 2026, at the same moment as the PC update.

The phone version is published by Level Infinite, with Proxima Beta listed as the seller on the App Store, and it carries a 13+ age rating there, with in-app purchases of Delta Coins and bundles.

Requirements and Where to Download

Only download the game from official sources. The official website links the App Store, Google Play and its own Android APK, and it also links a Google Play listing for PC. Sideloaded copies from anywhere else are a common way for accounts to get compromised.

  • Minimum on iPhone (App Store): iOS 12 or later, 2 GB of RAM and an A10 processor or better.
  • Recommended on iPhone: iOS 14 or later, 4 GB of RAM and an A13 processor or better.
  • Install size: the App Store lists about 1.4 GB, but extra resources download after the first launch, so keep several gigabytes free.

The App Store's own information section also mentions iOS 11, which conflicts with its device spec section, so treat iOS 12 as the practical floor. On Android, check the requirements shown on the Google Play page for your device, and avoid running the game on an almost-full phone, because updates need room to unpack.

Modes and How They Feel on Mobile

Both main modes are available, but the experience is tuned for a phone. Warfare is the most obvious difference: the official site promotes 24v24, and the App Store listing mentions battles of 48 players, compared with the 64-player battles the Steam page describes for PC.

Operations works the same way it does on PC: you bring gear in, loot under pressure and only keep what you extract. The usual advice applies with extra force on a phone, where a missed tap can end a raid. Learn one map on Easy before raising the stakes, and build your loadouts so you are comfortable losing them. Our operator guide helps you pick a forgiving specialist for the extraction mode, and the loadout code guide shows how to import tested weapon builds instead of tuning attachments on a small screen.

Competition is also split. Since September 2025, rank leaderboards separate PC and mobile players, so your ranked climb on a phone is measured against other phone players. Our crossplay explainer covers how the mobile version fits alongside PC and console matchmaking.

Controls and Settings Worth Changing

The developer has steadily added mobile-specific options, and a few of them are worth turning on right away.

  1. Separate jump and mantle: the April 2025 update let mobile players split jump and mantle onto different buttons, which prevents accidental vaults in tight rooms.
  2. Fire Interrupts Reload: also from April 2025, you can set whether pressing fire cancels a reload, which matters in close fights.
  3. Maintain Movement in Backpack/Map Screen: added on September 8, 2026, this lets you keep moving while you check your backpack or the map.
  4. Voiceprint transparency: the same update added a transparency slider for the on-screen sound indicators in the custom control settings, so they stop covering important parts of the view.

Beyond those, spend ten minutes in the custom control layout and move the fire, aim and lean buttons to where your thumbs rest naturally. Most players who struggle on mobile are fighting the default layout rather than their opponents. If your phone supports it, a stable high frame rate usually matters more than maximum graphics quality.

Sensitivity deserves its own session. Start lower than feels comfortable, because touch aiming tends to overshoot, then raise it in small steps until you can turn to face a sound without your thumb leaving the screen. Write your final values down so you can restore them after a reinstall.

Mobile-Specific Balance Changes

Weapons do not always behave the same on a phone. The developer adjusts recoil for mobile separately when a gun becomes too easy or too hard to control with touch input. On September 8, 2026, it significantly increased recoil for the M250 light machine gun on mobile, and on October 9 it increased QJB201 recoil on mobile while reducing recoil for the M14 marksman rifle.

Other changes target touch controls directly. The Season Ahsarah update in November 2025 reworked the one-touch firing logic for wire-guided missiles on mobile so missiles only fire after you release the fire button while aiming, and the October 2026 update fixed touch input that could stop responding in the Detonation bomb mode. The lesson is simple: when you read a weapon ranking, check whether it was made on PC, and test any recommended gun yourself before trusting it in a raid.

Your First Week on a Phone

A structured first week makes the phone version far less overwhelming, especially if you have never played an extraction shooter before.

  1. Day one, controls only: finish the tutorial, then rebuild the button layout until aiming, firing and crouching feel natural without looking at your thumbs.
  2. Days two and three, Warfare: large battles are forgiving because you respawn, which makes them ideal for learning recoil and movement without losing gear.
  3. Day four, your first Easy raid: take a cheap kit into an Operations map, loot one area and extract early, even with a small haul.
  4. Day five, learn one map properly: repeat the same map until you know two exits from every area you like to loot.
  5. Days six and seven, squad up: playing with even one regular teammate doubles your information and halves the stress of a raid.

Hardware matters more on a phone than on a console. Long sessions heat devices up, and many phones lower performance when they get hot, which shows up as stutter in the middle of a fight. Play with the case off if your phone runs warm, avoid charging during long raids, and prefer a stable Wi-Fi connection over mobile data when you are about to commit expensive gear. A dropped connection in Warfare costs you a few minutes; in Operations it can cost you everything you carried in.

Finally, keep notifications muted while you play. A banner across the top of the screen at the wrong moment can hide an enemy or cancel a tap, and that is an easy loss to prevent.

Keeping Your Mobile Account Secure

Phones get targeted by cheats and scams just like PCs. According to the developer's November 2025 security brief, its anti-cheat partner, Anti-Cheat Expert, uses a prevention-first approach on mobile, including anti-debugging, code protection and resource hardening to stop modified game files, and it hunts for modifiers and speed tools. Our anti-cheat guide explains what those systems do and how bans and compensation work.

  • Install only from the App Store, Google Play or the official website.
  • Buy Delta Coins only through official payment channels; the developer warned in December 2024 that unofficial top-up services can compromise accounts and are not supported.
  • Never share your login with anyone promising free currency or codes.

Some events also differ by platform. During a February 2026 Valentine's event, for example, mobile players earned rewards through daily sign-ins while PC and console players earned them by playing new season content, so read event pages carefully rather than assuming they match what a PC friend sees.

Starting With an Established Account

Leveling up, unlocking operators and building a stash on a phone takes many sessions. If you would rather start further ahead, the store's Delta Force hub includes account listings from third-party sellers, and each listing states the platforms it covers. Before going that route, know that the game's End User License Agreement says you may not sell, resell, rent, lease or share your game account, or provide access to it, with anyone else.
