Nearly a decade of downloadable content has turned Xenoverse 2 into a very long game. The story side now runs from the first Super Packs through Infinite History, the Hero of Justice packs and four Future Saga chapters, the last of which arrived in July 2026. A completed save can show all of that as cleared on your characters. What it cannot do is hand you the right to play content you have not bought, and that distinction is the most useful thing to understand before you order.
What the save records about DLC
The store listing for our Xenoverse 2 save says History Mode is unlocked on all eight CaCs "including every DLC". It also lists the Cheelai and Broly missions as complete, the Tokipedia as complete, and DLC titles plus special titles in the cosmetic section. In practice that means story chapters, mission clears and the rewards tied to them are recorded in the save file for every character, not just for the first slot.
That matters more than it sounds. Player reports going back to launch describe a newly created Xenoverse 2 character starting with story, Parallel Quest and training progress reset, even though skills, costumes and items are shared across the account. A legitimate player who wants every DLC chapter cleared on eight characters is therefore looking at eight separate runs through the same expansions. The save collapses that into a single delivery.
The part a save cannot do: licences
Downloadable content is a purchase attached to your PlayStation account. A save file is only data, so it cannot add a licence for a pack you never bought. If a pack is not owned and installed, its playable characters and story chapters stay out of reach no matter what the save says about your progress. Before you order, open your game library on the console, check which Xenoverse 2 packs you own, and expect to buy any missing ones separately. The listing itself says a purchased copy of the game is required and that only the modded save is sold.
How the game presents recorded progress for a pack you do not own is not something we could confirm independently, so if you are missing several packs, ask through the contact page before checkout rather than guessing.

Two extras sit outside the numbered story packs: the Masters Pack, which adds five instructors, and the Legend Patrol Pack, which brings the original Xenoverse story, GT arc included, into this game. The table follows the Dragon Ball wiki's DLC list; check the PlayStation Store for exact names and bundles in your region.
Infinite History and the Tokipedia
Extra Pack 2 added Infinite History, a branching story in which the Future Warrior teams up with their instructors to deal with Dabura and Fu's meddling. It is reached through a time rift near Chronoa's house, has several storylines and endings, and is tracked afterwards through a time scroll called the Tokipedia. That is why "Tokipedia complete" appears as its own line in the listing: it is the record of those branches rather than a general encyclopedia.

Future Saga and the Cheelai and Broly missions
The Future Saga ran from May 2024, when it launched alongside the native PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, to Chapter 4 in July 2026. Chapter 3 brought Broly and Cheelai into Conton City with a set of side missions and a reliability meter, which is what the listing's "Cheelai and Broly missions complete" refers to. Chapter 4 added the final playable characters and, through its free update, lifted the level cap to 199. Coverage of the August 2026 fix patch reported that Bandai Namco aimed for Chapter 4 to be the game's final content update, so a save made on the current patch should not fall behind a new story pack.

Who this angle suits
The DLC-complete side of the save is best value for players who already own most of the packs but never had time to clear their stories on more than one character. If you own few packs, the save still delivers the eight Level 199 characters and the base game completion, but a lot of the story it records will be content you cannot open yet. In that case, price the missing DLC first and decide afterwards. The broader trade-off is covered in our worth-it breakdown, and the full item list sits in the unlock all checklist.
Once you know which packs you own, the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 modded save listing shows the $50 completion package, with every DLC line spelled out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the save give me DLC characters I have not bought?
No. DLC is a purchase on your PlayStation account and a save file cannot add a licence. The save records story and mission progress, but any pack you do not own still has to be bought and installed before you can play it.
Is Future Saga Chapter 4 included?
The listing says History Mode is unlocked on all eight CaCs including every DLC, and the save is described as updated to the latest patch. Chapter 4 is the most recent story chapter, released in July 2026. As with every pack, you need to own it to play it.
What is the Tokipedia?
It is the time scroll that tracks Infinite History, the branching story added by Extra Pack 2. The listing marks the Tokipedia as complete, meaning those branches are recorded as done.
Will more DLC be released that the save does not cover?
Coverage of the August 2026 patch reported that Bandai Namco aimed for Future Saga Chapter 4 to be the final content update. Nobody can rule out future releases, so treat that as the current plan rather than a promise.
Do my PS4 DLC packs work on the PS5 version?
The PS5 version is a free upgrade for PS4 owners, and Bandai Namco announced save transfer between the two. Check your PS5 game library to confirm each pack shows as owned for the version you play before ordering.
